We used to get our TV Dinners on Sunday night when we watched The Wonderful World of Disney movies, and we actually sat in front of the TV since back then families ate at the table together.
Hi Amy watched ur tv shows from the very beginning now love ur recipes I'm in wheelchair i don't do much proper cooking because of that but love watching u love to all the you Chris and Family xxfrom Debbie in England xx
Ohhh this recipe looks so amazing Amy. Thanks for sharing with us and I can’t wait to try it out. I was born in 81, but my grandma raised me and she had 8 kids and was a stay at home housewife and taught me how to cook. She worked in a diner before she got married and so most of her meals were diner foods. I hope you are all holding up well and staying safe🥰
I love this meal. I love to make onion gravy. I purposely make too much so I can freeze some and pull it out when I am in a hurry. I did that today. I needed a quick meal. Had some frozen meatballs so I pulled out some of my gravy, cooked the meatballs in the gravy, made some pasta and green beans. There you have it. I don't really think you can make too much gravy...of any kind. I like to make homemade frozen dinners too. I make too much on purpose so I can freeze a couple of meals, made up in freezer safe containers. Then when I need a meal in a hurry, I just pull them out, pop them in the microwave and relive the experience. Your recipes are wonderful Amy, Just like YOU!
I had COMPLETELY forgot about those frozen Salisbury steaks in TV dinners! I think I remember liking it, but what I remember most is the cobbler that accompanied the main course which seemed to always be in the top right corner of the TV silver aluminum tray. Thanks for the “ walk down memory lane” Amy!
Hi Amy, I love you! I have watched The Roloffs for years. I've laughed, cried, gotten so mad at Mat, LOL, but I have loved every minute. Now, I get to watch you cook. Great!

I was born in 1954, so I remember all the wonderful times of that era. My mom was the best cook in the world! I think our moms probably cooked the same things. She made everything imaginable. The only thing she never made was meatloaf, she didn't care for it, so when she would go out of town my dad would say..."can you make your famous meatloaf?". So I would make it for him and he would be in heaven! LOL I sure enjoy your channel Amy...you make me laugh girlfriend! Give Jackson a kiss from me...gosh I love and adore that boy! xo
