It’s crazy how after one questionable episode of Smackdown fans on social media are quick to say Triple Hs booking is “boring” and “he slow cooks too much” but when he does give a good show they go back to praising him like nothing ever happened. This why I don’t take fans opinions seriously AT ALL.

Randy Orton has numerous reasons to turn Heel when he comes back, being a "Good Guy" has gotten admiration from the Fans which is great, but, he got put on the shelf, he's constantly getting his ass kicked and he's lost matches

The Summerslam match card felt like Nights of Champions. This is the main problem with WWE's 5 match ppv models. I don't care it's easy to make the show flow better. It's a damn rip-off. Summerslam is one of the big 4 events, and it should contain at least 7-8 matches on the card. A lot of talents are being left out of the ppv. I don't feel hype for Summerslam. I would never pay my hard-earn to go attend to watch a 3 hour 5 match ppv event. It may worked for NXT, but not for the main rosters.
Raw has all the storylines and Smackdown has none thats the problem 😂
The problem isn't Roman being gone. The problem is HHH's booking. He loves slow burn story telling. And that works for 1 or 2 angles on the show. But every story being slow burn makes for boring shows. Cause alot isn't happening week to week. As he waits till they get to a certain destination (Ie SummerSlam).
Let's be honest we all overhype most of the stuff going on, especially anything bloodline related. Rememeber when the first 2 members debut and we all was gloating like they would make things interesting when in reality they been meh since debuting. Rememeber when we all was rooting for Bailey to win the belt again (why I don't know) now she has the belt and her character hasn't change from what it's been the last 2 years which was just being meh and not a important factor on the show
The gable storyline has been sooo overly hyped. Otis did his tease of turning spot for 3 months too long.

I called it back in February. Roman held the title for 3+ years. That's way too long to just throw the title on Cody and see what happens. Its undertakers streak all over again and 3+ years of my time wasted. To think as well, we almost had Rock vs Roman on a silver platter but that got scrapped for this. Thanks I hate it.

Not the best SmackDown, but I agree with everyone, we all miss Roman Reigns. SummerSlam needs to come fast. Hopefully after SummerSlam, we get new feuds. So far, NXT and Raw are better shows.

Today's SmackDown was alright, but the ending was similar to last week. I can't wait for SmackDown to be on the USA Network. Raw and NXT are the only two shows that are good.

I wanted Cody as champion but if I'm going to be real honest his title reign has been lacking badly. It's not all his fault because this is what happens when you spend years building one guy up and having everyone else job to the guy which I will say til this day was stupid. Everyone right now outside of reigns is weak and they have to build the talents credibility back up. Roman can come back and it solves nothing when it comes to how inferior the rest of the roster looks compared to him. Also Cody's I'm such a clean good guy attitude just isn't cutting it with people those days are over.

I love how we can get a uploaded version of what happened every 20 minutes because of how much of a time saver it is plus im waiting for Orton to deliver that devastating RKO to Rhodes and do that heel turn only to go after that WWE championship outside of that Monday Night Raw is clearly better of the two and im just waiting for the go home show on Friday before Summer Slam.
Smack down has fizzled post Heyman, but JD on fire hating this. WWE surely has a master stroke incoming; they can't be this bad especially since Raw is on fire. Jacob Fatu a nice surprise, but its not enough.
I see any slight criticism or improvement suggestions towards the WWE, a LOT of WWE fans will totally bury the person making any of those suggestions.

My only defense I’ll say for Cody Rhodes run being boring is the storyline he was involved in for the last two years abruptly ended after he won at wrestlemania and Roman took time off, and The Rock left and won’t return for a while. They definitely should have had more of a plan in place for the months Roman would be away. They just keep trying to push Cody as an underdog and have him get beat up all the time so he can then win his match and defy the odds. Guessing when Roman returns it’ll be him vs the bloodline and then they’ll do the Cody and Randy feud. Solo isn’t believable because he was never the main focus in the bloodline. Was always overshadowed by Roman and the Uso’s so seeing him now as tribal chief just feels so weird

Cody’s rise has been super manufactured and pushed to be everything he has become. Up to his ridiculous pyro, beating Brock clean with that kayfabe injury, 2 rumbles, kicking out a spike and spear combo, he’s just mid.
People complaining about Solo, but imo guys like Seth, Cody, Gunther and Priest aren’t top guys either. Singing to someone’s theme doesn’t mean they’re over.
Also, you can hear the manufactured crowd sounds all over these shows, especially that Andrade match.

Cody desperately craves adoration and it shows. The AEW audience picked up on it and rejected him. The WWE audience can sense it, even if they don't fully know what they're sensing, and that's why his reign seems plastic, fabricated.
Because Cody himself is fake, it's all a vaneer, and desperation is innately uncool.

I agree wholeheartedly with your take on Bianca Belair. It's definitely weird not seeing her in a high profile program at Summerslam. Personally I still think that it's too soon for her to feud with Jade, they're definitely going to save that for Wrestlemania.
My only fear about Tiffany cashing in at Summerslam is that on the following Smackdown we're going to get the dreaded annual Charlotte in the Bank cash in.

Almost all babyface title runs end up being a disappointment. The best babyface runs outside of Hogan are those that blur the lines.
Stone Cold and The Rock were good ba babyface champions, because they were believable and had personality

I only enjoyed two aspects of SmackDown: Logan Paul and LA knight, as well as Andrade versus Carmelo. I believe SmackDown needs Roman reigns, and if we get him at SummerSlam, we need SmackDown to improve with the bloodline saga and Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton feud.
They need to flash out programs across the card and stop focusing on bloodline..Romans return helps no one but him and bloodline

Yes Charolette, Roman Reigns, AJ Styles, Bobby Lashly, Nakamura, OG Bloodline are all off TV and definitely are missed. Trips is simmering the show as he builds new stars. Michim needs get a win, that big with her. Bayley been a hit and miss in the last couple of weeks. Logan Paul sucks being a part time wrestler, get the belt off him so they feature it more. Should have been build of new tag team contenders. Next week with a massive elimination tag team qualifier does help them if none of them feature much. Bad Bloodline is too focus on just Cody. They need to build other storylines with them if they are the featured heel faction team like Judgement day.

WWE is cooked. they need more unpredictable outcomes and more title changes. i remember when Kane and Mankind would win titles on RAW for short reigns. that was entertaining and unpredictable thats what we are missing. Zayn should hVe dropped the title to Breaker, Priest should have lost the title to ANYONE by now, Cody should have lost to AJ then won it back. HHH has fucking rocks in his head.
I don't think Smackdown post Wrestlemania has been all that terrible it's just been mid to me. But let's be clear here, if Vince was still running this company Smackdown would probably be 10x 20x worse than what it is now. I've been enjoying Smackdown for what it is for the most part but you are right JD, they've really been doing nothing for Cody and it's the same ol sh't every week with the Bloodline. And yes I too have had enough of Solo Sikoa, he's not a main eventer, he does not look anything like a threat at all, and if it wasn't for Jacob Fatu the Bloodline would totally be irrelevant. But to me I think Smackdown it ok and 5x better than it was in 2017- 2021
I watch TNA, it's not better than SD. I would argue with Dynamite, the Toni/MM angle clears almost everything WWE is doing now in the women's division, only Liv/Rhea matches. In my opinion, the issue with SD is the baby faces. Bayley is given nothing, this babyface run is horrible. She was much more interesting as a heel. And Cody, no thanks, it's too predictable. That was always going to be the issue with him winning. They kept that belt on Roman for so long that Cody can't just drop to anyone. Only a couple of people can realistically take that belt, and it likely won't happen this year with Rock looming for WM41. This is all filler with Cody.

Roman wrestling four times a year and each match having the same exact layout wasn't exciting either. At least Cody is a full time wrestler.
And I'm sure it's not Cody's dream summer to be feuding with the Bloodline again running back the same end to every Smackdown that they have for the past three years.
No offense, but I don’t understand your comment. It has nothing to do with Roman winning or losing at WM. Roman wouldn’t have been around for the show anyways win or lose. Fans would just be complaining right now about no title on the show because he’s filming a movie so we would still be in the same spot but without the WWE championship.

These current wrestlers are barely decent on the mic and gimmicks played just don't hold a candle to wrestlers of the last 3 generations. It's like they don't have the passion, likely due to everyone being paid good these days compared to wrestlers of the past because they had to work for it harder

Even with Roman’s limited schedule I tuned in to see what he was saying or doing but with Cody honestly I tune out his character and title reign is stale and boring.
I agree with JD Roman needs to come back soon because this show just feels lost without him and that’s crazy to say because your top baby face is on this show.

They are telling the story of basically Cody is going to be left with no one they're telling the story to make people want Roman back so bad that is why the show is being produced the way it is it's not that doing this because they have nobody this is all deliberate this is storytelling and if you're going to want hot shot booking stick to Dynamite
Smack down is a black hole sucking stars into it. Probably better to keep Roman away and bring back Heyman with a rival bloodline group to lay some groundwork.

You can have long term booking with good storytelling and things happening along the way.
Triple H needs to stop trying to book factions because he clearly has no ability to do so. Every faction he's tried to make has been DOA and there's no one left to carry the Bloodline. He puts four-five people in a group together then focuses on like one or two of them while making the rest of them fodder.

I've been noticing ever since Cody became champion the shows has been boring I'm not blaming nobody but Triple H because at the end of the day he's in charge of the shows and he's responsible for the booking and the shows lately Smackdown has become unwatchable and to be honest all in has been way better building up than SummerSlam and aew has gotten so much better as of late I feel like the ship has turned around and they are now back on track but yeah Smackdown has become the weakest wrestling show on TV right now even aew collision is way better than Smackdown and I'm just being honest because I enjoy collision even when it go to the USA Network it's not going to change everything
We( team roman) been said Cody's run was gonna be meh. But we just had to finish muh story. The last 2 years it's been about this story and they forgot to add something for Cody after he wins the big one. We all know they stalling until Cody goes up against a legit challenger like orton. Hopefully that don't turn into a 3 ppv fued, belt needs to come off Cody ASAP
The big issue is that they keep having Cody face bloodline ontop of that they have built no one to be a serious threat to him.....the big fault falls on creative not Cody

With Cody I can't think of a time where he said anything on the mic worth remembering. The aj fued went on too long. It's like we all know they are stalling until he faces orton
@@adriajones4044 Well, at least Cody's had a run this year. If Roman kept the belt at Mania we'd still be waiting for him to come back and Cody would still be spinning his wheels fighting the Bloodline every week. Not to mention the boom period we're in probably would have ended that night.
Cody's fine with the belt, he just needs a challenger. They should have just turned Randy until Gunther was ready for the big run. They haven't done anything to build up Solo as a threat.
