I am actually thrilled. can i send my old adidas also?
So... $180 for shoes designed to last 6 months... I'd rather pay $60 for the boots I got on right now. Puppies still going strong after 4 years
Is it limited to just 2 pair a year? I do 70-80 mile a week. More in a marathon block. I do cycle trainers depending on run/session. So these would last a month or so if worn exclusively. I can’t see ON sending out nearly 12 pairs of trainers in a year.
How about no, I'll rather buy one for 20 $
can't wait for cyclon on my feet!
Would be great if your subscription cost scaled with the number of shoes you get through in a year. For me £25/month just about makes sense now that I'm running 1500 miles / year but that distance still feels like a lot of effort! Wonder how using barefoot shoes would compare to this in terms of waste in the long term.
You’d go through 5 pairs in a year. 300 mile per pair. TBH that’s generous for ON as they tend to fall apart or fail sooner.
Neat idea. Why does it need to be a subscription? I suppose there are idiots out there who would chain themselves to a subscription service for shoes. You could just sell shoes then accept returned shoes when they are actually worn out, lmao
I love how the older comments are most definitely bots. no one is stoked to have these I can tell you that
Can I just buy a pair of shoes without paying for a subscription why do I need a subscription for shoes.
La subcripcion es solo una ves?

Could you elaborate on what EXACTLY happens to the shoe after shredding it? Because it seems that this is not a true cycle for the shoe, i.e. the materials. If you recycle it only for a few times to make other shoe parts for anything but the cloudneo, it is doubtful that this is the true answer. A good idea - but please be honest and open about what is possible and what is not at the moment.
Hi G B! When we receive the worn-out Cloudneo, it is cleaned, shredded, melted, and then extruded into the material, which we can reuse for the next generation of the Cloudneo. In the beginning, the recycled material will be used for specific parts of the shoe, like the Speedboard and several reinforcements. Step by step, with every shoe that we get back, we will increase the amount of material going back into the upper and the sole.
Already registered for a pair - really hyped!

Upa !!!!!!!!’
Great idea!
How do you sign up for subscription?
expensive!
This pure genius. Would be nice if our so called leaders were just as wise.
Why not just charge everythime you recycle the shoe?
A subscription doesn't make any sense here 😠
