- “Many of you have requested more driver videos, so here’s one to help optimize both DISTANCE and DIRECTION off the tee. Set up the practice station as shown in this video, starting slowly and increasing speed as you gain confidence.
The key is to achieve a positive Angle of Attack (AOA). Too many golfers are hitting down too much with the driver, which not only reduces distance but also increases spin, which accentuates misses.
By staying behind the ball and shallowing your approach, allowing your arms to work down instead of TRANSITION SPINNING, you’ll transform your driving. You’ll hit further with less effort than ever before!”
The trick is to stay BEHIND THE BALL and to use your LEAD LEG as a brake to help you EXTEND up through inpact! That extension helps force multiply your club head speed by helping the club SLING past the body a lot faster! Rember 80% of your speed comes from your HANDS & ARMS! And, it’s the job of the body to help facilitate that speed by working HARMONIOUSLY and in sequence with them!
