The movie writers/producers & Netflix should come clean and state that the SkaterGirl movie was HEAVILY influenced by Ulrike and Asha's story. They said it was an amalgamation of many "skater girls" but sheesh...this is way to close to be a composite character. Amazing story...best wishes to you both as you continue positive disruption!
It is indeed to close. Even in details as we've pointed out several times. It's OK what they did, it is just not fair to the village and Asha.

@@ulrikerenate Hi Ulrike hope you're well, when she said the bit about getting to decide when she gets married a tear came to my cynical eyes. Skidish is trying to sound like an American skateboard type where if you watch someone skate with much energy and skill and no fear you might say they're 'a beast'. This is the first time I've heard that applied to a female though, bit weird like that, but not meant as an insult.
