You should plant the roses that make your heart sign! To me it sounds like that’s two different kinds!
Love that idea! Why not 💛💛
I keep commenting while I watch! 😂
I think you should start a children’s garden and put the strawberries in there! I know that you only have the one little fella right now, but he WILL grow up in the garden, so it would be super nice for him to have “his own” garden.
Such a good idea. We need to start thinking about where the best spot for his garden is!
My strawberries get eaten by bugs without intervention and birds but I hear from others how well their strawberries do in the green stalk towers. You could cover with bird netting when the berries start producing to protect from birds, but bug damage should be at a minimum because the berries aren’t on the ground.
I’m a very whimsical romantic person and I think two different roses on one arch would be so much fun! Go for it!
Please show us your entire winter indoor garden setup. I want to try it myself but I'm afraid! I completely understand your new garden aesthetic. With string lights it should be gorgeous. I like mixing the roses, or any flowers. More natural looking
I’m planning a video all about my indoor garden plans! Should be very soon!!
I think the mix of roses on the arches sounds delightful and very “you”!
Okay! You sold me, I’m doing it 😂💛

Surprisingly we don’t have a problem with birds eating the berries, but slugs seem to enjoy them the most 🙈
Thanks for the affirmation to plant different roses on the same arch! I think I just might ☺️
@@SunshineFarm haha!! Not those pesky slugs again! Hate them!!! Well maybe they’ll do better up high, dangling off the green stock. Dangling berries 😏🤣
I just have say that I can't get over how much you and my granddaughter look alike. You two could be twins. Lol Seriously same beautiful face in Shape, Brown eyes just everything. 😊
So I enjoy watching your videos.
Oh and your garden is doing amazing.
Thank you!! So interesting that I have a look a like out there!!
We planted strawberries in Greenstalks this year and they are growing GREAT, so that's my vote for strawberries! 😊
Oh that’s awesome! Does that mean they’re just grown as annuals then?
Sounds like you have great some great plans. Blessings.
I would say strawberries in the kitchen garden (to keep pest down) but most of the season that bed would be not producing
Good point!! Maybe I’ll just add a container of strawberries next to the raised beds then!
Your Doing Fantastic with your gardening. Permaculture is the awesome way! I love it too.
Thank you!! I love it!
I love the tangerine sky! Two one one should be fine and fun I love my mixed wall
Thank you for the suggestion!!
You kitchen garden sounds wonderful!! I will be watching! 💗
Thank you!! 💛
This inspires me to try an indoor growing area this winter!
I’ll make sure to keep updating on our plans!
Love all the ideas .... also I think that you should plant two of the same on each side it will look whimsical
I do agree, but that means I need to get ahold of two duplicates 😂
I love strawberries but i decided the easiest way is raised or elevated teirs you reach easily otherwise they go wild. Blessings.
I would add a large raised bed for your strawberries between your patio and your bigger gardens. It appears you have just grass there now.
The grass is going away, it’s going to be woodchips, but I like the idea of adding another raised bed in there!!
Sounds like a plan. Are you hostas in direct sunlight? Thought they would be better in more indirect sunlight.
Mostly direct sunlight pretty much all day after 11am. I didn’t plant them there but they really don’t seem to mind. They’re VERY large, very healthy plants!
I really want a green stalk!!!!! I messaged them a month or so ago asking them to PLEASE sell to Canada. They said they would let me know when that becomes a reality!
I so wish they start doing that!!
I don't know roses much. Are these climbing roses that will pile themselves on top of the arch, or bush roses that will lean on the sides? My grandmother has both kinds, and that'll make a difference how you plant an archway. (Also, roses are fairly easy to take cuttings from.)
Climbing roses but not crazy climbers more moderate climbers. I guess if they get out of control I can always prune heavily! Or even transplant!
Do same rose on both side
Ahh I’m so conflicted!!
