I’ve been looking for shoes for my dad who is paralyzed on his left side due to a stroke. He has been using velcro shoes from New Balance for a couple years and is due for a new pair. I was looking at these shoes and this review helped!
James, the pair I got had no adjustments available and got wide width. Note; I don't have exceptionally wide feet but still doesn't fit. The only have one wide size.
Just found this video. Thanks for making it! I also get really excited when things are made with disabled people in mind(a lot of my friends and I are disabled, and I try to keep an eye out for things that might be great for them). Shared this with one my disabled friends who has been looking for shoes. Again, thanks for making this review. ❤️ Subscribed by the way. ❤️
I used to do pedicures and foot massages for years when I co-owned a salon in Monroeville. I had a few clients in wheelchairs and while I can honestly say I never delved into the reason why the client was in a wheelchair unless they volunteered the information, two of my clients had very small, wide feet. So perhaps they had the same condition as you. Most ladies would do anything to have beautiful small feet like you, so see your feet as something unique and beautiful. And yes, these two tiny footed women were proudly part of my client photo portfolio and one of the women even modeled toe rings for me when I sold them.
Hi gorgeouse danielle thank you so much for the honest review its hard to find an honest review about a product anymore in fear of getting sued if you dont tell the truth but I love your honesty I love your chanel been watching you since you started your channel keep up the great work beautiful we love and support you do you have a patreon channel would love to support you and donate to your channel to help you out
@@daniellabilityIn tears 😢 I am so grateful I just found your Channel! So happy to find someone with similar issues. All of the solutions that you have found are bringing me so much hope! I was looking at those shoes hoping they would work. Having Fred Flintstone feet makes finding shoes impossible for me. I am so curious I noticed on their website they have wide widths. Was the pair you sampled wide?
I dont think most of the general public understand the issues you experience with shoes. Its wonderful you shared a bit on the topic. Maybe a video on wearing nylons in shoes or other foot related topics would be welcomed information?
So I'm NOT in a chair and have the same issue as you. The Kiziks were the right length and fit the width of my feet, but I have high top arches. This squeezes my feet in a painful way. There must be different styles, as there are no adjustable straps or velcro that other folks have mentioned. I'm sending this pair back and increasing size by 1/2. May have to go to a different type. I am getting viscious arthritis and would love to find some shoes to make it easier.
I just watched their how to put on the first time youtube. There is supposed to be velcor on either side of the laces so you can tighten or loosen them.
Just found this review - and I have SB as well, so I've subbed to your channel! I'm glad to see this, because I was really considering a pair of Kiziks, and I wasn't totally sure they'd work for me. I guess the search continues! Haha.
I that the Kiziks have Velcro to adjust the fit and that they have wide options. This brand seems to be more for those who are able to push down. I wonder why they sent you these in the first place
I just heard about these shoes. I am disabled but can walk, but it hurts to be on my feet unless I wear oofos or fitflops because I have no fat pads and am walking on bones only. How is the footbed? Is it smooshy? If shoes don't have smoosh I can't go far.
The manufacturer may not have realized you are only able to use one hand to put the shoe on. That's a deal-breaker for lots of people needing accessible clothing
I was thinking about buying some, but I need shoes I can but on hands free... Do to a stroke my left arm is useless and my left leg/foot is swollen, so I need an extra wide shoe on my left foot...If you have that much trouble I would never be able to get them on 😒
Urgh I hate my feet for that reason I also have "fat Feet" I dont know about you but when im trying to get new shoes my right foot always gives more trouble then my left and my left is chubbier the last time i went to get new shoes was 6 years ago when my mom and i went to the store we had most of the staff looking for shoes for me and when we finally did find some we got to the checkout the store just closed and obviously because in a wheelchair i can still wear those shoes and they still look brand new

Danielle, you can adjust the width of the shoe. Also, they have a wide version.

Wow, I haven't seen you in a while...welcome back!!!
Misshapen feet and legs are sadly Spina Bifida issues.

Also, could you do a video on another brand of adapted shoe, the Zeba? I'm looking at those, too.

I’m the caregiver to my niece and I get her the Billy shoes
Maybe try a wider width size? I am going to try the brand
Do you have any sensation in your feet or how does it work?
I watched on UA-cam and it showed adjustable straps on the inside of the shoe.
Very compliment!! real a pretty girl!

I hope you find some that work for you! Try Zappos Adaptive. They have so great adaptive shoe options
