This is out of my comfort zone cooking-wise, but I'm definitely going to try it! This looks so amazing but is still healthy. I'd love to see you do even more Moroccan or Moroccan-inspired dishes 😊
It honestly comes down to preference, I literally pour the salt in and squash the lemons to release as much juice as possible the cover in more salt. It’s a trial and there’s no real error with this one. They always come out tasty. A good sprinkle of chilli flakes and a cinnamon stick really works for me 👍
Haste's Kitchen Awesome, thanks so much for your reply! I'll give it a go! Can't beat a Moroccan dish with some nice homemade preserved lemons. Your recipes are great btw. Thanks for the ideas :)
I made it!! It was sooooo goooood!!! 💛🧡❤🧡💛 I happened to have made salted lemon, but I didn't know how to use it. I use it in this recipe and it spiced up the dish! My family loved it and enjoyed it, even though they are not familiar with middle eastern food. It was easy to make and very festive. Great for a dinner with guests. Thank you very much for the lovely recipe! Thank you from Japan!
Oh my goodness! Definitely gonna try this, that dressing on top of already a great dish shows your love for detail to take a dish to an even higher level. This is such an outstanding channel, you deserve your own show, or even a travel/eating show like the late Anthony Bourdain. ❤️
Followed the instructions. Didn't turn out great. The potatoes are really undercooked after only 30 min at 180. Flavours are a bit too sweet, the honey cinnamon combo turns it into pastry tasting.
How many days do the preserved lemons need to sit until: A.) They can be used B.) They reach a peak level of taste and texture & C.) They go bad or become not as good (or are they like some types of preserves, which have an almost endless use timeframe)? Thank you for this great video and recipe!
Wow, wonderful! Such a simple and healthy recipe. I agree, many variations can be done...like whatever you have in the pantry at the time. Thank you for a great video as always!

My mom makes persevere lemons but without the chili and cinnamon, the longer you preserve it, the better it tastes
I've been looking for a recipe for preserved lemons! They are amazing! I just wish he'd specified how much salt etc. Oh well, I'll experiment then :)
