Zee Zaweth Do you have a suggestion for a mic that would work on trail with a phone camera? I have a rode lav mic, but I’ve only used it on seated review videos. I don’t know how a clip-on lav would work on trail. I guess I could plug it directly into the phone as needed but taking it out, plugging it in, and clipping it on every time I wanted to record might add a decent amount of time to videoing during the hike.
@@songbirdultralight7384 I am going to start Vlogging my trail adventures next year leading up to my 2022 ECT thru hike. I plan on buying a newer smartphone to use for vlogging but am still debating an Iphone or not. So, those two mics are what I have found after doing some research and watching what other vloggers use. Hope this helps.

Screw the mic. Audio is fine, &if it's not, then just be unapologetic, maybe turn down audio& use subtitles if needed.
