I'm from South Africa 🇿🇦 and using trains is not the norm and our system is not advanced like Europe so using trains is very intimidating for me, when I was in England it was so hard for me to grasp the system, but I am hoping to travel next year and your videos are so helpful

I can imagine the trains are quite daunting but don’t worry - you will get used to them as you go along and don’t be afraid to ask for help from people who work on the trains or in the station. Also friendly travellers will also be a helping hand! The interrail app will be helpful too and make it pretty straight forward. The main thing is, make sure you’re on the train going to your destination and at the right time :)
Hey Maisie, thanks for the video! I have traveled a lot by plane, but I love traveling by train and have been thinking about interrail for years but just don’t know how it works. Can you customize it for example do like 1 week 2 countries ? Or 3 countries in 10 days ? Ans how about accommodation?
Hey there! Thank you for watching and yes you can customise however you like as long as you stick within the package you choose. So for example if you pick a pass that has 5 travel days in one month you could literally just pick 2-3 countries and spend more time in them and just travel to the next one after you’ve spent 2 weeks / 10 days there and it’s only when you travel you use a travel day off your pass. Accommodation is just like normal travelling, look at hostels, hotels, airbnbs xx
Excellent video! I am 69 years of age planing to see my friends in UK! Therefore my route: Bregenz to Zürich! Zürich to Paris same day! Next day Paris to London. London to Shrewsbury! That would be 2 days out of my flexible pass. Then to Poole from Shrewsbury - pay cash! After a few days there now in Poole going home now with following route; Poole to London then Brussels! One day more of flexi pass=3 days used now ! Now from Brussels next day to u Frankfurt am Main - where a RJ goes apparently via Stuttgart straight to my home town of Brege!! Sobtoll
So should I take a 5 days of 1 month flexi pass? Will I be getting seat reservations for all the TGB n Eurostar or are they limited for Global pass holders??? Please let me know!! Thank you! Bless you!!

Your plan sounds amazing and I think if timings don’t cross over into another “day” then 5 travel days should be fine. You’ll need to look on the website / speak to Interraill directly on the seat reservations as I’m not 100% sure. I know that the website and App can be very helpful and you can also put your route into the planner on the website to confirm which pass is best for you :)
