Ay-up! the black low loader was spotted! Bless your Dad, I gave mine a new smartphone and he can't stop video calling me! Weather down here Gloucestershire is on and off, bit of sun pops out then we have a shower but the next few days isn't looking to good. So say this is summer!
The bit when you patched and the cable tied that water hose reminded me of a time when I was in Sidmouth in Devon and I blew a hater hose on my Sherpa van. I got a reel of silver metal style insulation tape used on ducting and wound it up. I then topped up the rad and left the cap off and drove back to Dartford in Kent. Took along a 25ltr drum of water just in case. I got back home with no problems. Replaced the hose the next day. I still carry a reel of that in the boot of my car just in case. Thanks for posting....
Now I know where Tom gets his gift of the gab from 😂 Another fine video Tom, keep 'em coming. The weather on the other side of the planet is a cool 10C but fine, thanks for askin' lol
Rains every day 😶 Be nice to your dad. You'll miss him when he's gone. Here in Australia NSW every loose item on the Tray of a truck is over a $300 fine. But they also banned fireworks. so no surprise really.
Beautiful sunny 17degC Adelaide SA today, couple of early cold starts this week at 0-3 degC coldest since 1908! Love the commentary ;) May I suggest heatproof engine bay tape or worm clamps instead of cable ties? Unless their Tom Lamb farmer approved LOL
Another interesting video Tom that’s the thing with the black paint on JCBs it doesn’t last very long and weather not been good wind rain the last couple of days and a few showers today and a bit of sun and a lot of wind at the other end of the 57 to Olly 👍👍
Electric fence signs - I have the same problem with 'Wet Paint' signs, I have to touch the paint to check. I was in Amsterdam once, and the hotel doors had a sign - 'deuren natte' - no idea what it meant, so I asked the lady on reception, who said 'wet paint'. I had to go back and check ...
The hose blew because it can! Mechanical things always go when least convenient. Had a puncture at the weekend 200 miles from home with a horsebox on the back
Yep, that looks about right. 90% of the work is just gaining access to the tiny component that has actually failed. Mid-high teens C here during the day. At or below freezing overnight (weather station thingo said it hit -3°C Wednesday morning.
One day you will be like your dad every time someone comes into the yard. 😂 weather here in Northern Ireland has been dry but very windy. And yes we are also getting rain tomorrow ☹️.
Does your dad know every minute the fitter there it cost money😂 Not very good hose should have lasted longer than that 😬 Not been a bad day here and hopefully get some proper rain Friday get the crops growing 👍
Being lovely in Brighton today nice and sunny with a we breathe they got stronger by the end of the day bringing in those nice little clouds it's gonna pedal On Us Now tomorrow this Friday
Loved the part where you were taking the p*ss out of your dad, really funny. Regarding the electric fence... always touch a suspect electrical item with the back of your fingers. If it's live, then the electric shock will make your muscles contract, curling your fingers away from the source of electricity, so disconnecting you from the hazard. If you grab something the way you did, and if it's live, then your muscles will contract grabbing the wire tighter. I'm not sure about electric fences, but if it were high current DC, then you wouldn't be able to let go of it.
did you know if you were to catch that JCB bonnet handle on lets say a shed girder you can puncture the engine oil filter , empty the engine of oil and destroy your engine in less than 30 seconds , ask me how I know
Tom doing an impression of his dad was a hoot! Hilarious stuff!!
Sounds exactly like my dad who also is a lifelong farmer 😂
Things that I loved about casual content is you get video every days📈
Happy Treason Day from across the pond!!
Not many words needed Tom 😂😂, love the tractor wash
Thanks for the laughs, Tom! My 5 year old loved the electric fence part. It is HOT in Olympia Washington today (almost 34c 93f)
Thanks
