Some times I feel like I take scripture for granted. I can open up the Gospels, or books like Pslams or Romans or Acts and think I can understand it so easily and then I’m confused why people struggle but there’s always something to be learned

@@stls800Scripture does say be ready. Take for example The Parable of the Ten Virgins or The Day and Hour Unknown in Matthew 24 and 25. Imagine he did come but you weren't prepared.. Just like the 5 virgins who weren't prepared got left out.

It makes complete sense because if Jesus really didn't know the day or the hour, then why did he reveal end time events. As a side note, im reminded of the parable of the virgins and the oil lamps, they didn't know the hour the groom would arrive and he didn't make the exact hour known to them except that they should have enough oil and wait on him. Jesus obviously knows but in the role he's playing, he cannot let us know since we must be genuinely ready for him.

I'm Aramaic, I read the Bible in Aramaic and English. I found that in English, it's been a little confusing . In Aramaic we use the same word multiple times, but it has different meanings in the way its used And in Aramaic we can use one word that will deliver the same message where in English it may take a whole sentence or 2 to do the same. Example: English ( I have done so once before in the past ). Aramaic ( emzona ).
Agreed brother. Not ignoring racism and things that may go on. I was raised with mom and dad and saw how he built his real estate portfolio with 8 kids, breadwinner, no government assistance. My dad had an array of friends from different races. The craziest story I heard was a friend who got him started in real estate. His friend had an impressive real estate portfolio and never went to college. He just worked overtime at a blue collar job and saved🤷🏽♀️. Anywho, he would approach people in foreclosure and noticed something that blew his mind. When he, as a black man, approached the owners and offered to pay to move them out, they refused. His friend then got a guy white guy ( let’s politely use the term substance abuser), cleaned him up, put him in the suit and paid him a couple of dollars to approach the same black people. Guess what…….he got the deal🤷🏽♀️ Riddle me this for those who say we gotta stick together: if he gave the same deal with the same amount of money and offered to pay the moving costs, what changed in this scenario? Was it the content of the character? Or the color of their skin? Black folks, don’t dismiss people by their color. You need “good” people in your corner-not color. I’ve been offered (without interview) positions of the white race because of who I am, my character, my hard work although I could look at other white peers that I felt was just as qualified. Stay blessed and keep your head out of that mess.

Please can you remind me of the verses? I have searched your videos and searched and haven't found.
