Congrats, congrats, and even more congrats on finishing this. I felt that at 14:45 (and I'd argue that that was an appropriate level of aggressiveness given the circumstances. 😤) "Maybe the secret all along was to just publicly shame myself by making an ongoing writing vlog series about my writing process." That gave me a good chuckle, and from what I've seen on UA-cam, there does seem to be a fair amount of truth to that. Never underestimate the power --evil-- of the UA-cam audience™. 😈 (Although, you do seem to have a pretty cool audience. Which...might make that pressure worse, actually. 🤔) I hate to be "that guy" that brings up the "mystical/untranslatable" Japanese word/phrase, but I feel obligated in this case. There's the term "mono no aware" that refers to the transient/ephemeral nature of things (and all the feelings associated with it). And that, I think, sums up how I felt watching this entry. Lots of new beginnings on the horizon, but lots of doors had to be closed in the process. At the very least, though, we have documented proof that these things happened, and I think it's really cool that you'll be able to go back to these moments and see exactly how you felt and thought while all this was going on. It might not be a replacement for actually being there and experiencing it firsthand, but it's definitely something. (And hey, at least there will be less bed bug experiences, hopefully. Haha)

I’m looking forward to seeing your revision vlogs! I really want to see how those go! I’m so excited for you! After a 7 month hiatus from my PhD dissertation novel (also an Adult Fantasy), I’ve also started revising and will be revising the rest of this month. This is my 4th draft. I hope to query somewhere between April and June, but June at the latest. June is the goal. I hope both of our query journeys lead us to hopeful destinations. I’m definitely a little nervous! 🥹

Great, now you have to self-edit or hire an editor $$$ Good luck with that If you ever publish that book traditionally or through self-publishing, beware of my highlighter and annotations It's not really a personal thing It's just that every fictional writer I come across usually has something that gives away that it's a work of fiction, and well, I notice and point it out with my annotations
