Great finds, the brokes are even outstanding

  • @artifactsofarkansas5549

Awesome points. The size and thinness of those points is incredible

  • @janicegelbhaar7352

  • @MidwesternTrapper

Killer finds brother! Wish you the best of luck this year!

  • @eastcoastlithics1398

Well shoot! That was enjoyable to watch 👌🏻

  • @RobsRelics

I wouldn’t be surprised if that last point is a worked down Dovetail. Kinda has those cute little corner notches and the beveling would also support that. Sweet video bro you are on a roll!

  • @OutdoorRetiree

Awesome finds! You sure do have a good creek to search. I see lots more points in your future as the water clears up. Good luck!

The abundance of big blades y’all got up there is just crazy, just one after the other, I wish I could find just one creek around here that was loaded like that, I know you’re putting it in and there not just laying everywhere but compared to the creeks around my hood it’s like being a kid in a candy store lol, I can’t wait to get back up there to visit my fam and see if I can get on some of those big blades, that polished piece of hematite may have been a preform pendant or something, I found a big oval shaped piece of polished hematite in a creek near my house a few years ago I’m pretty certain was a preform pendant, you can see where they started drilling through it and it has little pin holes around the outside like a design, most people just see a rock but I think it’s about the coolest artifact I’ve ever found, I can only imagine what it would have looked like finished, it would have been something special I have no doubts, anyway bud, awesome finds, congrats on them all, Happy Memorial Day Weekend, God Bless & GL&HH!!!

    Killer finds, awesome video

  • @Howard-bj1jq

To test for hematite, find an unglazed bottom of a coffee cup and rub the material on that surface. If it is hematite, the streak (residue) will be reddish brown. That's a great Dalton drill!

  • @tsamoyed

I searched about four hours today and found nothing whole.. You had some great finds!

  • @michaelwhiteside1011

  • @historylooker7

  • @scottnock5241

Great saves!!!!! Shame on those drills… I can’t imagine why they made them that long? The had to break a bunch of them in use, those guys were amazing craftsmen just amazing!!!

  • @lelandshanks3590

#1 sharpened down Etley # 2same, #3 Etley with spokeshave worked in #4 Hematite pocket celt #5 Snyders, possibly reworked by a later culture? # 6 Dalton , send to Gomer omg!!! # drill, about used up.

  • @lelandshanks3590

I'll rewatch this later and number them as found and get back with ya. That orange wonky one could have been reworked by a later culture.

  • @thepeopledownriver9948
