5 years to understand this. Guys since I am risking just $100 I am breaking even over a month now. No where I want to be but I am not blowing more accounts!!by just risking always the same. This is true. Keep your risk management on point depending on your account and you will feel relax and no attach to the results

Thanks NV - I realise I need something like this while currently practicing sim after doing your (excellent) course. The additional skill is to think on the spot to calculate how many contracts to enter as SL level will, of course, depend on the situation as some set-ups demand a wider loss than others!

Hi NV, not long finished your pro course. Feel like i know you in person now...ha, Never heard of trading before until august 23'. What an eye opener this course has been, so much top level stuff to digest. Helps immensely when the course is well laid out & structured even for the folk that is totally green to trading. The risk management is now something i need to develop as i practice the Simulator.!
You are one of the few who talk realities about trading. Another thing i discovered is the usefullness of having two scaled down stop losses, so in case the first is been taken out you are still in the game having limited your risk (keeping your core position) and then you are free to add again. its a variation of your system.
Great point I apply this however usually only after the first scales. Everyone has to adjust it according to their own risk tolerances thanks for watching and great work.

I’ve seen your live trades and this explains what you do. I still don’t know how to implement it myself. It seems I’m 1 position long and price takes off. But then I end up adding to a losing position.

So neerav my fellow institutional trader. What you're saying for example is to enter for a short for say uuuhh 20 lots? And then during the course of a few candles after trade execution when I would see a bearish point of control, bearish multiple imbalances, bearish market sweeps, bearish value area gap etc, thats when i would add on another entry for another sell but this time for 40 lots?

Vau, man, you're amazing! You just described 100% my situation. I started with trading quite recently, I quickly achieved pretty great profits, starting with 1000usd account and having over 6000 usd in my acc. in a first 4days. I know i was risking and not trading wisely but it worked. My success rate was over 92 %. But then I lost my whole account with over 6k in one day due to few bad trades. This scenario repeated in a similar way twice and I became paralysed and not able to trade almost any significant profit for couple of weeks since then. Many thanks for your explanation. Although I knew what happened and why I am not being able to achieve any significant results again, it's always very helpful to hear it from someone much more experienced.

Fair point but the reality is trading is a tough business and even if you are an amateur you have to start pushing yourself to do this properly.

NV i consider you are my first mentor who introduce me to trading and i admire you as my teacher .
But lately I m been very confused with which market I should be trading I m asking up this because I trading Nq for close to 1 year with ES on the left screen and both moves same . And i didn't know which market I should be trading . In NQ I m trading for 6+month but with very small SL and risk management didn't go very well and with ES with 1 con there is very less money I can get .
I started trading in NQ because of profit but after knowing the risk management is very hard for me . i have one prop account with 2000 max loss and 3000 TARGET with that i m risk 250-500 per trade .
So can you help me with this which market I should be trading I also know that it all depends upon me but i want your advice and also tell me best risk management for me and thing you tell important for me

NQ in my opinion is simply too volatile. I recommend sticking to ES but using micros ie MES which will allow you to trade much more granular if you wish to increase size whilst retaining flexibility. You can also trade cash S&P CFD if easier.
I m prop firm it allows only 5 micro and 5 mini
And if I started trading in MES then the profit are very less and it will take me forever to reach the target of 3000
@@manishtrader6108 then change prop firm to allow yourself more flexbility to play with different size of micros. Add them/ or remove them in batches depending of your comfort zone and how much confident you are.

We observe all individuals who began to day trade between 2013 and 2015 in the Brazilian equity futures market, the third in terms of volume in the world. We find that 97% of all individuals who persisted for more than 300 days lost money.

When anyone sets out in business and aims to make six figures or more how many of them succeed? A very small %. Trading is no different. HOWEVER the biggest reason they fail is because they are doing the same thing as everyone else. That is why I made the video to show what professionals are doing is not what we see being done by retail traders.
