Absolutely love it, I have a two door jk and have very little room for bass and being a previous bass head was skeptical of doing this. Not dissatisfied at all, great response, impressive!
Great video, I just installed mine, so far it's awesome for how small it is, as for the auto on/off button, this button should be turned off if you have a remote wire, if you connect the harness for the high inputs from your speaker wires then you won't need a remote wire and the auto on/off should be in the on position as it will detect a sound signal from the radio and automatically turn on

I have a 1993 LS400 with stock factory pioneer sound system. My factory 8inch sub doesn't really work very well anymore, and as good as the sound system holds up to this day, I really want a little more bass. But I use this car as a daily, and use it for shopping, and everything. I also like the aesthetic of the OEM radio in the car, and I love having the CD and cassette deck. So I am trying to find out options to replace the sub with something better, but also something that isn't going to take up a lot of trunk space, or anything crazy. I thought of one of these systems, but the LS has seats that sit low, and AC vents that actually route out underneath the driver and passenger seats for the rear passengers feet, so I can't use one there. I could just replace the OEM sub which sits on the rear deck right infront of the middle brake light but I was hoping to get a 10 inch sub, instead of only an 8.
For home audio subs we test doing a frequency sweep and either just use your ears or a db meter. Why wouldn’t you do the same for this? That would be much more informative imo.
I ran two of these in my volvo, hit about 150db from the kick panel but had to take them out after my windshield blew out, but make sure you have 3 450amp alts like I have and a lithium bank or your voltage will drop like crazy , these bad boys put out a ton of bass and deff takes power to make power 😅

Either output would work since it has a built in low pass filter, but the sub out would be better. Most head units allow you to cut and tweak the sub bass more through the sub out. Ex. My head unit has a bass boost and level control that only affects the sub out. Along with the bass knob on my amp, I can really dial in the bass exactly where I want it for every genre/song.
