that actually sounds great. I could definitely hear a smooth, clean bass. I about to order me one of these. THanks for the video.
how was it
Thanks for sharing 👍 😊
FROM QUEENSLAND AUSTRALIA
Got this installed today….I gotta say it blends in well with the Skar RPX speakers that were replaced from factory……I mean it’s not crazy crazy bass but the bass is now present and it does sound a lot better
I always thought of Installing one to Cadillac Escalade since the Bose sub on the 2007 above is very weak. Do you think it gives it more presence.
@@juliobello4561 it sounds a lot better than the factory sub but yet again i have an 03 Nissan Maxima. This is only temporary until I do my big system before the summer 2023
@@thekidbart4528 What do you think the low end extension on this is? 30, 40 50 Hz?
Where to buy
@@10TPOPRlate but helpful tip all underseat subs even if maker claims 25-30 hz I promise you it will never do that lol’ These just aren’t designed for deep -low bass
They are designed to be discrete and round out a factory system they give some boom but nothing like a sub/ Amp in a box
It actually has mounts if you wanna screw it in on a Nice 3/4 MDF plate under the carpet. You’ll even get a cleaner sound when it’s mounted and add like a Black whole dampening under the Mdf plate because it’s soft when being held down. screw it in so less rattles 💯💪🏽🔥
This is the truth. In my little fiat, I was testing the OEM subwoofer enclosure that I purchased from eBay. With the woofer freely sitting in the trunk, it sounded fine. I wasn’t impressed but followed through with the installation and got it bolted to the body. HOLY CRAP the difference when bolted to the body was immense. I feel as though there’s some real efficiency loss when small/light subwoofers are not mounted.
Your the shit Jacob viral...been subscribed for long long time brotha...bass heads for life

great video seems like it would work in small locations like a truck maybe 2 of them
It it's that loud just holding it then imagine how it would sound inside a car with cabin gain. Two of these under the seats would be killer. I predict in the short future these will evolve to the point they become real option for most guys not looking for SPL but want to bring there bass level up to enough at least hit 135db. I can see that coming.
You’re an idiot
interesting
I’m trying to get info how this subwoofers perform. Because mine idea is install two of them under the front seats. I’m not looking for be the loudest but i want a nice an clean base performance. I will try
@@joseotero791 Remember, you need the RADIUS of the driver in open space in front of the speaker. I don't think you will have the height, unless it's a truck.
Nah thiese are garbage, get a proper small efficient 8inch in a box
that's a neat sub/woofer..
I bought the 8 and the 10inch, I’ve yet to install it…but hopefully this weekend….I need some bass till spring 2023
Keep us posted on the sound
Been a year, sooo 👂
I'm going to install this behind the rear seats
Bought 2 of these for my classic car application, I needed something to go under my seat, had no room for real subs..very surprised on how good they sound, priced right too! Like 1/2 of what kickers cost..
How do you connect 2? Did you split everything? Or run separately?
I replaced the crappy passive sub in my Kia EV 6 with this one. 5 minute install!! and bumps nicely. Not like a normal 10 but trust me worth it.
If you’ve had experience with a normal subwoofer. What’s the difference. I’m planning out a sound quality build and was wondering if it has good base extension at lower volume. (I usually listen at or below 90 db).
@@jacobrzeszewski6527 This doesn't even come close to the 10" mtx in my truck, but in my Kia it is more than enough to shake the mirrors. If space is an issue you can't go wrong here. Plus the install is very simple.
I also have an ev6 and am curious about adding a compact powered sub.
I’m going to buy one for now until I do my 3 8s and crossfire 6.5s
I don't know how good the camera's mic is, but it doesn't sound good at all over my linearised headphones. Even when the thing is not on the tabletop, it sounds like the diaphragm is already working at its mechanical stress limit. Low tones actually seem to come out (even if not exactly precisely). But the kicks are completely lost and only rattle. I have often thought about getting one of these. But I'd rather opt for a self-made spare wheel recess woofer made of GRP. It's better to have some headroom than instead of constantly torture such a small air pump.
Pretty cool tbh
I have 8 in NVX installer hook up with input high level does it make a difference
disassemble it please
You think this would help a front stage lacking bass output?..also does this go to the sub out on my head unit or full range output?
Either output would work since it has a built in low pass filter, but the sub out would be better. Most head units allow you to cut and tweak the sub bass more through the sub out. Ex. My head unit has a bass boost and level control that only affects the sub out. Along with the bass knob on my amp, I can really dial in the bass exactly where I want it for every genre/song.
Good review. Wish you would have tried bass knob. Like you said maybe for someone looking for a little bit of the perfect beat.😁
bass knob is literally a volume knob as it adjust the gain from your set max and down (given you tuned the system properly).
I would recommend adding the bass knob, even if you just tuck it under the seat, so you can make adjustments some time. I mounted mine in blank dash button cover.
It’s does not put surrounding speakers ?
Will my head unit base control this
For home audio subs we test doing a frequency sweep and either just use your ears or a db meter. Why wouldn’t you do the same for this? That would be much more informative imo.
question bro ive just bought a 4x4 ute and im wanting to put 2 subs under my back seats do you reckon these would do? and would i have to buy a amp ?
2 would do great if you don’t want to take up a lot of seat room and no amp needed as these already have an amp with them, just the wiring. 👍
It Being A Ported Sub Whats The Tuning Frequency? I Also Noticed It Didn't Have A Subsonic Filter Which Is Usually Necessary For Ported Subs But I'm Guessings It's Probably Internally Subsonic Filtered.
Probably low 40hz
I wish it was installed in the car for sound samples.
Compared to a Rockville one this one appears to hit much lower notes than the rockville
Hey, could you explain what do you plug the "remote" to ? (the port between +12v and ground )
This is so the amp is only on when your radio is on. That way the amp will not be on all the time draining your battery.
@@Deadpool-ODST Right, so plugging it to the radio's 12v input does the trick ?
@@FlagadorTV the radio will have its own remote output.
@@FlagadorTV hooking a 12v signal to that port will turn the Amp on.
@@Deadpool-ODST alright thanks very much for your help. I ordered a similar 8inch sub from Aliexpress, i Hope it'll turn out ok
Cute lil thang🤷♂️
Does a 160 on the dash sealed at 28hz 😅
lol. jack knobs not using bootlace ferrule straight fail at 4:31
How do these things feel under your seat while driving?
You wouldn’t feel it if stored properly. Minimal vibration
what
Gauge of the REM wire did you use for this?
Usually it’s 16-18 ofc
The question is were do we hook up the blue wire when using high input? When using factory radio were we cant cut any of those wire cuz that would be messing with the factory stereo, the point of buying a power subwoofer is to avoid messing with factory radio, any advice
A lot use a switch and manual turn on through your power wire reroute:l.
You dont need blue wire with high inputs. The "Auto ON" feature detects output from the high inputs and turns the amp on.
@@Nimbus12thanks bud
Can you add epicenter to this ?
Don’t see a need but sure?
How can it make 500 watts max with a 15 watt fuse?
200 rms
With an amplifier.....
15amp fuse... P=I*V so 15*14= 210. So yeh if it were actually 500 w RMS it would be drawing like 36 amps. The 15amp fuse will let it draw slightly more power for a very short period but if the amp were to run at that continuously it will pop the fuse.
Likely over rating the watts, but also probably stores some energy in the caps for burst output
Have a question . Should I run 1 12" 1200rms or 2 10" 700rms??
2 10s better cone area so 10s but depends on your rms amp your running and box space options.
I've always been a fan of 12" deepness, but the box for 2 10s might fit nicer in a trunk.
I have air-conditioning and heating vents underneath my seat there's no way this would fit under the seat most cars you wouldn't be able to.. Wonder how it would sound in the trunk against the backseat
Why is the fuse crooked?
Bent from being bumped probably
Can you put these in some harley bags?
Check the dimensions to confirm but I would say yes
What's the gauge on the power cable
8 gauge 2:05 , thanks for watching 👍
4 ohm with a 2 ohm output lol . Not sure what you mean by that but still a good video thank you
Subs is a single voice coil 4 ohm, amp is 2 ohm stable. Thanks for watching and subscribing!
Cam I wire two of these? One under each seat?
Yep seen as many as four installed
@JacobViral do a video on that ? 😅 I'm tempted to add another but as a DIY guy I follow youtube instructionals...I'd like to wire em together for control and power...but unsure if that'd work right also how do I spice L and R? Etc
Would you need to buy the entire kit?
No just a basic amp wiring kit for plug and play
Auto on is high level turn on soo no 12v switched required
Ahh thanks got it
Remote controls gain or boost?
Gain and level
not spill winter passenger will bring snow to car for sure and kick it to floor
Where does remote wire go connected to behind the aftermarket stereo?
The blue wire from the aftermarket radio should be there.
@@JacobViral should the remote wire be connected?
@@JBITSecurityShortVids Yes use it to a power source with a switch or the blue turn in wire from stereo/head unit.
Nice! First🔥
Could u install multiple of these and how
Yes and chain to a battery/terminal block/relay easy.
Can you install 2 of these?
Yes? Typo?
@@JacobViral sorry I ment 2!
@@manstuff612 yes seen as many as 4 installed, it all just has to be tuned correctly
Ported enclosures sound like big ass whoops cushions.
Would I be able to run more subs??
If using another amp to power the sub yes
Not to bad...I bet in car underseat bumps enough lol...
"Im gonna TUNE the amp now."
-proceeds to EYEBALL the settings 😂😂
Auto power means no remote cord needed 😂
Hello there! I don't know much about cars and car stereos, so here's a question: if you have a car with just two front speakers and you install a subwoofer in your car...does the subwoofer take over the bass from the two front speakers or is there still gonna be bass from them? I have just two front speakers and when i turn up the volume, they can't handle the bass. They start to distort. So i wonder if a subwoofer is the right solution for that. (Also: English is not my language) Thank you.
Sounds like a tuning issue, you need an aftermarket head unit to slip lpf cutoff the bass frequencies from your midrange speakers. If you can cutoff the lower freq it’ll help.
The subwoofer will not "take over" It will add. Same sound to the 2 speakers, but, you will get more bass because of the subwoofer, so you could probably turn down the "bass" setting to make your smaller speakers happier and still have more bass than before.
Well I guess I won't judge it from the video demonstration because if I was too then I'd have to say it's a complete waste of money lol-ol-ol but I'm hoping that they're much louder and better sounding/performing in person and it just wasn't able to come through in the video 🤷♂️
This sounds horrifying in my earbuds
"Auto On" is for when you are using speaker level/high level inputs. The unit will detect the voltage in the speaker lines and will auto turn on without having to hook up your remote turn on power wire. With that said..my opinion of this unit is: Don't waste your money. Get a real subwoofer. So many better options out there. The "port" on the side is a joke.
This whole review is a joke. This is for adding a little bass under a seat to a stock system with the bass knob (for the wife) No one will use the RCAs on this or the remote wire. So show the hi levels with auto on feature at least. Put it under a car seat even with external power to show the response and test out the bass knob
Are ports on underseat compact powered subs all a joke or just this one? Have you opened it to see the port routing?
PERFECT UNDER SEAT! INSTALL 2! Not everyone wants huge box!
I used RCA to after market head unit! Perfect. Just have to know how to install!
@@toanigamboa4483 I’m talking about factory head units that don’t have RCAs. Very few people have after market head units. You’re not gonna go through the trouble of replacing a head unit just to get RCA’s for this tiny subwoofer
🗑
The port isnt real.......

lol and what car is that gonna fit under? 1980 Cadillac? Have u ever seen underneath a new car? There is like 5 inches of space smh.

Is this a joke review? That thing is garbage aint pushing anywhere near 200w and aint 10in lol
hahaha fake port, doesn't move air.
