Wow! Too many amazing pieces to pic a favorite. I do love the fortification agates and the quartz crystals and the calcite are crazy! Such an awesome place, the scenery alone is fantastic then you add the agates and geodes. 🤯 Thank you for sharing your trip and all of your beautiful pieces! ✌️🤠
It really is amazing!😄 that spot really never gets old, and the fun doesnt stop after the digging is done cuz those things absolutely transform after an acid dip😄
What a fun trip fir the three of you. I hope Katie is feeling better. All I can say is scorrrrrrrrrrrrre! Truly awesome. Keep the giodness coming and don't overheat.☹ Be happy, safe and stay healthy 😷⚒
They were all so pretty! I think the one that was totally filled with Calcite and hiding beautiful crystals was amazing! At 14:45 ish, we’re those Labradorite flecks on the end? I was seeing some beautiful blue flashes! Hi Alexis, you made me laugh peeking out behind Theo!😂 Can’t wait to see that big geode cut and polished! Awesome treasures!!👍👍👍
Sweet location, super-sweet finds and a bit of sweet heat. In other words, an all-around great day! Your finds are certainly no bad second cousins to Brad's finds. I look forward to seeing some of them get crunched in Drogon's jaws, :-).
Those are such unique, beautiful, and distinguishable, agates! So gorgeous! And you are such skilled craftsman, that in your hands, they all become gorgeous! Thank you for sharing your finds. They are awesome!
Thank you so much!😄 but i can only take a bit of credit, when the material is that pretty it definitely makes things easier😂 absolutely love those agates
Yeah there are some reallly nice rhombohedral and dogtooth calcite crystals in some of those agates!😄 if i find good ones i usually leave them intact but usually its just a small film so i opt to remove the calcite to show the quartz in that instance. But its an insult to dissolve a good rhomb surrounded by druzy😂
They took a very nice polish I'll definitely have to polish a few I got and show the beautiful fortifications better 👍 once again thank for taking me along on this great rockhounding trip 🍻
Of course my friend! I was so happy to see you digging such a good pocket for your first time up there!😁 those forts you found are gonna be insane with a polish!
Hi Alexis! It's always great to see you! Thank you for helping Theo record. He looked like one tired dog. The agates there sure are unique, I really like to see them. Can't wait to see the double pocket cut and polished!
So I recently started adding water to my felt pad for the final polish against all advice. Zero regrets. I feel like I’m getting a better polish out of it now. That being said, yours came out awesome! Thanks for the video brother.
I hear you on the heat keeping you from cutting man. July in Florida ain't fun. I have a very short window in the morning where I can do it out of the sun. I did not prepare enough this Spring, not by a mile. I spent 3 hours cutting in the afternoon 2 weeks ago. Brutal.
You always find cool stuff! I’m jealous and can’t wait to get out there one day! Would love to find colorful jasper myself. Btw, is MRM doing ok? I haven’t seen a video in a while from her and know y’all are good friends. I love watching her videos as well! Keep up the awesome finds!
Those were some Beary nice agates/geodes. You know now that next time I come down I’m gonna be headed that way. Be prepared!😂. I’m gonna bring the geode cracker with me too lol!(if he’s able to of course hehehe). Any issues with the reptiles up there?
You use the same area on the disc when you rock your stones. That causes wear patterns in the disc. IF You would move the stone closer to the Edge and back toward the center, your disc would last longer. Not saying to start now, but when you start a new disc, polish with all of the polishing surface..
Is the yellow crud on the outside kind of clay-like? In a pegmatite dike in Nova Scotia I found smoky quartz, mica, and black tourmaline, surrounded by yellow clay.
It can work great and sometimes it doesnt at all😂 the problem being when im deep down in a hole the camera is just recording the dirt above me🤦🏻 so when im out of the hole the headmount is ideal but i need the tripod once i get into it
@@TheoKellison I'm a huge fan and love your videos. I love rock hounding and your a huge inspiration to others. Thanks for sharing all your knowledge.. 💜💜💜💜

Loving those good ones… uniquely formed for an AMAZING DISPLAY
Alexis, you're so funny. Love seeing you, 😆 🤣 😂
Talk about a bucket list spot! That stuff is beyond beautiful. The acid cleaned them up super nice too. You done good! 👍

Cheers Theo. Those are cool agates, looking forward to seeing them cut & polished

Really beautiful Bear Canyon agates! I know the heat must have been pretty bad out there. I hope Kate is good now. I do love the collaboration videos!

That large geode one turned out so well. Who would've known that it was hiding that nice crystal pocket! 💎
Right!? I knew it was gonna have something behind that calcite but i definitely was nooooy expecting such nice crystals in there!😄
Oh what that is a beautiful specimen 😀
Ok Um… those calcites were WAY nicer than I expected!!!

This was such fun! Next time I'll find a place to settle down and dig instead of wandering up and down the hills in the heat. :D
Wonderful finds...
That's wonderful!! What an amazing eye you have!! so many beautiful colours and crystals!! Thanks guys/girl for taking us with you on the journey 😍

Love this great finds. Also love when you and Katydid hang out finding rocks!!
No way I could pick out a favorite! Amazing finds!
Impossible to pick a fave, they are all so spectacular! Can't wait to see the changes in the river after the floods!
Really looking forward to my parcel.
My favorite is the sparkly one

Nice.
Travis found some really cool stuff. Probably because he was wearing that DBZ shirt. I try to rockhound like Goku trains 😂
Thats the power of anime🤣 just channel that spirit energy and the rocks will come

Come here to NM I'll show your more than just agate and chalcedony lol.
Those beg the question
What is all that stuff in the cavities
I might keep the two angles on that double
Accentuate the uniqueness of the rock!

So when looking for bear canyon agates. Do you just look for a spot in the canyon along the wall and dig?

Theo, were you up there last Monday the 27th?
Why yes, yes i was😄
@@TheoKellison funny, my wife and I drove by ya. She's been watching your vids for awhile now. You inspired her to look in at bear canyon.
