Actually you should look into how old Lewis really was. He kept changing his date of birth whenever he applied for work or told people.
I can't remember if his dad died or divorced his mom or was in jail. Lewis needed to get a job to help pay the family bills. He had to lie to be hired at a job. After that, he just kept it in the same general area. Some people claim that his son knew his actual birth year. He told people what his dad told him, but was it true?

I always felt so bad for her. She'd come home with her good-looking boyfriend, he'd see her family and run away in terror, and she'd cry because she thought they were running away from her. Meanwhile, Herman and Lily are like, "Poor Marilyn. :-(" LOL! How did it never dawn on her that they stayed with her an entire evening UNTIL they saw her family? Loved that show!

I think his show was actually called Super Scary Saturday, and he used to show a lot of old Monster Movies like Gorgo, Monser Zero, and Rodan. I am surprised seeinng what The Munsters would have looked like in color that I actually like it better in black and white anyway, as I find it creepier like the old Dracula and Werewolf movies of the 1930s. My favorite Munster was Yvonne De Carlo as the mother and wife of the family. I grew up watching The Munsters but saw in another UA-cam story on The Munsters it would have been its competition with Batman that I swung over to watch it instead like others. I watched Car 54 Where are You and did not realize Al Lewis was Fred's partner on that TV show as well. Thanks for placing on UA-cam.

The episodes bring so many good memories .u asked who was our favorite Munster mine was definitely Herman!!

Actually, Fred and Al thought Yvonne wouldn't take well to television but she proved them wrong and she did have a diva attitude at first, but Fred and Al had a talk with her and straightened her out. As far as the makeup goes, Herman and Lily were always a grey green color and Grandpa was grey blue. Beverley Owen left the series for 2 reasons, she only agreed to do the pilot and didn't want to do a weekly series and she wanted to go back to New York to marry her boyfriend who she missed terribly. She also wore a blonde wig, she was a natural brunette.
