Yep I also got surprised by the first crystal amazon province I attacked in dom6. Expecting them to sit back shooting arrows ineffectively, meanwhile they divebomb my commander 😂
I gave an awake Luck Magic Weapons bless a try, and didn't care for it. Even with 7 dom, I couldn't get the dominion in my cap up enough to make Nidbatheds worth recruiting until turn 5, and I had to take Sloth scales, so no scales troops. I was reliant on mercs.
Hey Lucid (or anyone who can answer this. When playing these games do you use Mapnuke or an exter al tool, or rely on the in-game map generator? When I use the ingame tool my maps feel quite janky and odd
Um,... was there a reason why you didn't show us the first battle with your dragon? Or did you just forget? Anyway, these are always fun. Thanks, Lucid.
Lucid, at 6:23 when you say "if you hold this down you can see how many scar souls they have". What button do you mean by "this"?
Tab, it higlights afflictions and it seems like scarsouls too in this case.

Err probably an oversight! >.
What button did you hold down to see the wounds/scars souls?
2700 gold. I'd say you were slacking on infrastructure even if most of that was income. :P
Looking forward to the scales expansion
29 provinces in 12 turns! Not amazing, he says. I am lucky to get 15 provinces in 12 turns normally.
Try an awake pretender
Expansion is all about momentum, especially if your choice of expanding unit is resource gated.
