BLOODLINE the Busted Knuckle Rock Bouncer Build

- This time on Busted Knuckle Builds we are showing off our latest turnkey Busted Knuckle Production Rock Bouncer built right here at Busted Knuckle Off Road in Cullman, Alabama. This is one of our Ride Chassis with a few performance additions. We shoved a 630 Horsepower 427 stroker into this rock bouncing machine hooked to a built Turbo 400 transmission and 3.0 Atlas Pro Tcase. This transfers power to the ground thanks to our own 1410 driveshafts that spin custom BKOR 40 spline 14 bolts steering axles equipped with 4.88 Yukon Gears front and rear. Rear steering is controlled with our self centering electric over hydrauic rear steer system. 43" TSL SX sticky tires wrapped around 17" beadlocks are kept on the ground with Radflo Triple Bypasses and Coil Carriers front and rear. Jake Burkey has the suspension absolutely dialed with 16" of travel up front and 25" in the rear thanks to our signature Busted Knuckle Off Road Trailing Arms coupled with our own 7075 billet aluminum link bars. This is pretty standard for one of our builds but what makes this one stand out is the blood red wheels and accents matched with the Satin Black and Gloss Back Powder scheme. We were proud to build this machine turnkey for one of our first customers we ever had when Jake first started selling parts. I have a million questions lol. I've never got to see one of these in person. I've been an auto technician for 21 years but it's mostly the repair side of things... got to do a lil performance stuff over the years but nothing like this. Y'all do what I dream of man.

Quality control is top notch and the proof is in the finished product. Nice to see him not babying it out on the trail. Only reason it rolled over is because I’m guessing the cooler was full of cold brooskies. ☠️👊

You guys are so thorough and meticulous it's worth watching just to learn.
It’s crazy to me just how impressively tough the axles transfer cases an running gears are now. Use to that’s what broke on all the videos now you rarely see the higher end buggy’s break those things
These take so much thrashing and have yet to break axles, tcase, etc
I agree 100% i broke several t-case, driveshafts, axels and i hated that .
My last one i needed to put the basted on a diet ,LS engine , rangover Axels, aluminium body ,

I have a GMC Jimmy 1978 K5 that I through a small block in it from a 1969 Camaro and it was blew printed and balanced it's big tires nothing like your rock monster.

The coolest thing in the world building off-road cars , i have built a couple and generally i can say if you want horsepower in the 500 range it starts to drive cost , axels , transfer case is ripped apart fast at the same time you want low weight ,thanks god for the LS engines 💸
this combo we have seems to do very well with up to 700hp
@@BustedKnuckleVideo Thanks for the reply , i understand this since i build engines for 30 years 😂 and i was just a little careful with my comments , i was referring to a budget build that can be good but when you excess 500 bhp all goes to crap, i build also track cars and hotrods when i have time and money

Awesome video, awesome buggy. My only quibble is the tire choice. They just don’t seem good in the loose stuff or the slick wet rock. Need more lug spacing particularly in the center to get better traction in the loose stuff. Please for the sake of doing that awesome machine justice, put better tires on it. My opinion anyway. We stock a lot of parts and plan out these builds way in advance. It helps having relationships with the companies also.

@@BustedKnuckleVideo I figured engine vacuum might not be reliable if it stalls at the wrong time. They do make electric vacuum systems but hydroboost gives you some assistance after the pump stops. Like you said manual is the way to go as far as reliability. I guess the manual systems are more powerful than needed so it ain't gotta work as hard. Man I'd sure like to go over every bit of those rigs just seeing what all y'all got in em
