Art of Fighting (Japanese: 龍虎の拳, Hepburn: Ryūko no Ken, lit. "Fist of Dragon and Tiger") is a fighting video game trilogy that were released for the Neo Geo platform in the early 1990s. It was the second fighting game franchise created by SNK, following the Fatal Fury series and is set in the same fictional universe as a prequel to the Fatal Fury series. The original Art of Fighting was released in 1992, followed by two sequels: Art of Fighting 2 (龍虎の拳2, Ryūko no Ken 2) in 1994 and Art of Fighting 3: The Path of the Warrior (ART OF FIGHTING 龍虎の拳 外伝, Art of Fighting: Ryūko no Ken Gaiden) in 1996.

I never liked the game mechanics of this Saga. BUT the concept, characters full of charisma, music, Moveset and Graphics still AMAZING to this years!!! 😮😮😮

No hay que olvidar que fue pionero en utilizar una segunda barra para los ataques especiales, los desperate moves,provocar al enemigo para restarle energía de los especiales, el zoom de precisión al acercarse los personajes y algún detalle que olvidaré.
La jugabilidad y mecanicas sí es cierto que podían haberse mejorado en comparación a titulos similares de la misma epoca de la propia SNK o la competencia, pero sin duda sentó las bases de los one vs one modernos hasta ahora.

A very rare case where the second game is by far the worst one. AOF1 and 3 are both masterpieces to me. AOF2 is a terrible and unbalanced mistake.
Alwsys see It as a SF ripoff, with poor physics and silly characters and Dumb things like face bruises, , but they introduce things tht later became standsr, like superspecial and zoom in and out.
Its straight angles....awesome....developed neurons in kids....strategy and tactics with quick improvisations based of micro second recalculations to adapt!
