Intro to the live action show of Alice and Wonderland that aired on the Disney Channel in the early 90s, all of the characters were acted out by real people and puppets.
Ah.. the 90's I'm 35 now and remember watching this as well maybe age 7 or 8 and indeed the 90's was magical and timeless, got a nostalgia of goosebumps listening to intro again..
@@Goodwillwinoverevil1984ur not that much older than me maybe by a yr. but that's all&I also watch this show on disney it came on b4 school in the morning&after school in the afternoon
Which ones, for examples? I remember some of them and I really loved them. The only episodes I remember really are the six ones released on vhs. They need to put this out again!
OMG I LOVE THIS SONG- can you send it to me in full please? I would love you forever- I was OBSESSED with this song and this show! It brings me such joy to watch and re-listen to this song because it was a HUGE part of my childhood! Also congratulations. You're amazing! My email is- laurenmelissa97@yahoo.com
Andrew Todd Rosenthal you should help join me in the fight with Disney for a proper DVD release of this series. I've sent countless emails and spoke to people for hours and hours on the phone about it. They informed me that it is possible, they have all the episodes available but they just never bothered.
alrite everyone we need to step up our game here, keep liking keep bringing in the want votes for a Disney Classics Channel. If we all hit a extreme viral. I have no doubt that Disney Channel will give us a Classics channel. so post post post, like like like!
Just hearing this theme instantly puts a smile on our face. Such a treasured part of Disney Channel and childhood past. Sure miss how simple and fun shows could be, all cloaked with a life lesson and steeped in some cheerful fantasy.
I loved this show! Because of this show I used to think you could really walk through your mirror and would try it constantly. My mom came in my room once and asked what the hell I was doing and then laughed at me lol.
I love DefunctlandTV! Such a nostalgia trip. Not so much with this show but with some of the others they’ve highlighted like Oobi, Gullah Gullah Island, Bear and the Big Blue House and all of the Jim Henson stuff.
Absolutely, Been subscribed to him for quite a while and I didn't remember this show at all until he played the intro and it hit me so hard lol. I had to see the whole thing
Carrie Lowther Same here. though looking back at it as a grown man I'm wondering what caught my interest over it. Looks like something with no appeal to me but I know I watched it when I was a kid...
Fun Fact: The Girl who played Alice (Elisabeth Harnois) went on to play Morgan Brody on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation from seasons 12-15 & the finale movie, Immortality. She has a great career ahead of her if she gets casted in a future drama.
It is amazing how we can still have brain cells that carry this information. In fact, those cells perished years ago, but the information was transferred to newer cells. I'm looking for every piece of nostalgia I can find. There is another show in my mind that has yet to be discovered. I know it involved moving walls with faces.
there was a random animated short that i think was on nick jr back in the late 80s/early 90s that i saw one time and would do about anything to have vivid enough memories of it to try and track it down and be able to see it again
My son sent me this today, Memories of him sitting quietly watching this show..I could have easily sat a plate of broccoli next to him and would have eaten it all. That's how much this show had his attention...Ahhhh memories ❤
ALWAYS LOVED THIS SHOW!!! My favorite rendition of Alice in Wonderland!! Thank you Disney Plus for adding this in watching it all the way through with my wife enjoying our nostalgic time together! 💜💙
A round of high 5's to those who grew up in the 90's. I remember this show when I was like 4 or 5. MAAAAN I loved this show. I miss the old Disney Channel.
My daughter Justine watched it every morning before school. I loved the way it started her day before school. We never left before it was over. That was the Disney channel back than
Okay I honestly was so young when this show was on I was have convinced I dreamed it up until I found this video in my reccomendations and remembered teh words to the song.
I remember watching it on VHS during the late 2000's and early 2010's, I'm not sure what ever happened to the tape, I remember trying to look through my VHS collection back in 2016 and it was nowhere to be seen. I'm glad to hear that song again
i remember watching this with my aunt when i was really little like a 3 or 4 i have had this theme song in the back of my head for a loong time n i just found it
There is to be a part of Epcot linked to Adventures In Wonderland. It use to be in what now Spaceship Earth in what is now the future area. (I was recently there.) It basically starts with what feels like a video chat with Alice. She is looking for her cat, but then the Cheshire Cat shows up and he suggests a few locations. You can say which one you want to by speaking out loud. It was live action.
Oh, I almost forgot this show was an actual thing. It's funny because I clearly remember the live-action Sabrina the Teenage Witch show, which has a similar vibe.
I think the actress who played Alice deserves a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And here's whom I think she should portray: Special Agent Abigail Brand of Sentient World Observation and Response Department (S.W.O.R.D.), an interstellar faction of S.H.I.E.L.D.
I remember loving and being afraid of the Queen of Hearts in this show. In this, she exhibits a more comic duality of the character as portrayed in the animated film.
At least she wasn’t crazy over beheadings, the only thing close to a “punishment” of hers in this series is being pied in the face just by pressing a button.
I remember getting up early as hell to see this show before i had to go to school.I would set my alarm clock to 4AM since thats the time it started.I believe the was the start of Disney doing musical tv shows. But this did it better way better.
This was my show especially reruns on weekends. I could watch hrs of this show and tons of 90s shows growing up and it's never old. Thank god for UA-cam since your sometimes lucky to get full episodes on old shows.

i agree with you on that great idea
I remember watching reruns of this on the Disney Channel as a kid. It was like a fever dream.
I watched reruns of it as well, but it didn't feel like a "fever dream".
Well, if anything feels right being a "Fever Dream", then it is certainly Alice in Wonderland.
This show is now on Disney+. Let’s hope it stays that way.
It's on Disney+, you sure, I hope so.
Man I wish we had Disney+
YOU DON'T SAY... BEEN WAITING FOR A LONG TIME TO RE-WATCH THIS
