But the turn after she cracks a fetch land (wich is a forest) for a G/W source (taking 3 damage) to cast a green spell. Yes, she might need the two R and W source, but she can always crack the fetch and she could be drawing what she needs

Yea i was thinking to myself how nice it would be to have a self bounce card in the deck for this scenario and how it would benefit her, but then he bounces it for her and im like "you fool" lmao 😂
So, I took a look at Murph's Yuriko build because I was so surprised he didn't hit any of the high mana value spells in spite of constant digging and realized how casual friendly he built her. Murph is for sure a gentleman among ninjas for not abusing Yuriko's potential.
there's a difference between making a friendly fun deck and putting something together that just doesn't work. Yuriko has plenty of potential to be used creatively without such unfun things as being stuck on the lower half of your curve. Something being casual friendly doesn't have to mean poorly functioning, the level of full function could just be slightly lowered, at least in my opinion.
It's more of a Yuriko deckbuilding dilemma in general: either you have a ton of action but hit low with triggers or end up with a ton of useless cards in hand.
For the Warhammer 40k Commander that's about to drop soon, keep in mind that Henry Cavill is an absolute Warhammer nerd Would be really dope if you guys could make something happen

LETS GO LADEE DANGER Lathril propably is one of my most favorite commanders. Its so great how it can go from tribal to voltron to aristocrats to combo without any problem or without feeling unfocussed. Its awesome and it makes so much fun and I'm excited to see it in game

You all are part of something that, to some (a lot ,I wager), makes a difference in their lives (For me, it was channels like this that really helped through Covid. To name another, Smosh). Providing them with joy and inspiration. Sounds like a bit much perhaps but I really feel that concept of the dedication. The BTS people are so important and often go unpraised. For me, this channel's efforts make the games SO epic. Such a pleasure to watch.

To win in the game knights, all u gotta do is not make yourself the first threat and chill out & ramp. Then just play uncounterable big boys and win It's very rare the first person to get a lead wins,
Enjoyable game! Good interactions among the guys, everyone had the chance to do something and the outcome of the game was pretty uncertain. And for me it was so refreshing not seeing again the usual staple-fest (Dockside, Studies, Sylvan Library, Smoothering Tithe, Jeska's Will, etc.), it was almost as if decks in Commander can do different things!
I really liked this episode. The group were a lot less over-the-top and a lot easier to watch and connect with. Also, the presenters were much the same and the thanks and recognition they threw to the group in front of and behind the camera was really nice. Hope to see more like this one in future.

Great animations! This was one of our favourite episodes in a long time. Everyone got to do something awesome. We weren't sure if Ashlen's deck would be too slow in relation to the others so the end was a fun surprise.
As someone who love dragon, this is the best Gameplay I've seen so far. I like how nobody is the clear winner until the very end, it was very entertaining to watch!

I love how lady danger, after guarding Murfs ninjas with her spell is like "Alright, i think i'm okay" with 9 life and she casually forgot that their is a dragon player that has 2 dragons with double strike when she attacks and can easily end her. LOL
Great game! The team are all great on camera and we do appreciate all their work and the high production values. Due to the clear tribal identity and mechanics for each deck, I think this one is easier for less experienced players to follow too! Shame our boys the zombies and ninjas didn't pop off but they did well to hang in there

I didn't realize these two had never been on game knights proper, just extra turns. Also, Ashlen's win percentage on this show is unreal, people tend to single out Josh as a particularly dangerous players but that sweet Ashlen might be the real threat.
I really like this episode of game nights. One is that it was not just about the new release and it show case and I got to see more of who the game knight are with there decks. I would love to see more of this type of game knights and the fan games cause it feel more like how me and my friends play Commander.
Having a competitive Yuriko myself, I was excited to finally see some high level play, especially with Lady Danger saying the words ElfBall when describing part of her deck. My personal best with Yuriko was a turn 3 Pod wipe using Scroll Rack and Draco. However, this was more like some tier 6 decks muddling around each other until the Dragons got too chunky and wiped the table. Although, that being said, these look like some fun and casual versions of what I know are deadly Commanders and I would love to see more tribal stuff as it is my favorite type of deck. GG everybody and great editing work in post on the Dragon Tempest death swap.
Haha yes rebels one of my favourite tribes after slivers, there definitely are powerful as I've built a cedh rebel deck a few years ago and it put up a good fight
@@rossjohnson8552 It is great also you can go many directions with beeting Pirates, treasure theme (mechanized production fun card) or even combo glinthorn or an mayhem devil you made into a pirate and some other infnite 3 to 4 card combos. Pretty flexible great paring
Great production quality as always. Concerning the gameplay: I do not know if Murph was nervous or just has never played Yuriko before. He missed out on at least 4-6 triggers: when forced to sacrifice in the beginning, always sacrifice Yuriko, then Ninjitsu it out this turn or next turn using the Gingerbrut; when attacking always attack the player with no mana up. This deck does not care about the 3-5 chip damage from the ninjas, but about the triggers (reveiling a 1 mana spell is the same damage total as the 3 Nashi damage, also drawing a card and casting up to 4 spells for free). Using Chain of Vapor to bounce an own ninja when blocked, then ninjutsu out again, sac a land, bounce something from another player,...
one of my 1st commander decks was a scion of the ur-dragon deck, so seeing another full dragon deck is very nice! please keep up the great content, love all the animations and commentary!

I would love to see more of this type of game knights and the fan games cause it feel more like how me and my friends play Commander.
This episode feels like my start to deck building. First deck I had bought cards for was Satarou and I'm currently working on building Tiamat.
I don't get why Jake didn't play Scarab God as his commander...

Having a competitive Yuriko myself, I was excited to finally see some high level play, especially with Lady Danger saying the words ElfBall when describing part of her deck. My personal best with Yuriko was a turn 3 Pod wipe using Scroll Rack and Draco. However, this was more like some tier 6 decks muddling around each other until the Dragons got too chunky and wiped the table. Although, that being said, these look like some fun and casual versions of what I know are deadly Commanders and I would love to see more tribal stuff as it is my favorite type of deck.

Haha yes rebels one of my favourite tribes after slivers, there definitely are powerful as I've built a cedh rebel deck a few years ago and it put up a good fight

@@rossjohnson8552 It is great also you can go many directions with beeting Pirates, treasure theme (mechanized production fun card)
or even combo glinthorn or an mayhem devil you made into a pirate and some other infnite 3 to 4 card combos.

Concerning the gameplay: I do not know if Murph was nervous or just has never played Yuriko before. He missed out on at least 4-6 triggers: when forced to sacrifice in the beginning, always sacrifice Yuriko, then Ninjitsu it out this turn or next turn using the Gingerbrut; when attacking always attack the player with no mana up. This deck does not care about the 3-5 chip damage from the ninjas, but about the triggers (reveiling a 1 mana spell is the same damage total as the 3 Nashi damage, also drawing a card and casting up to 4 spells for free). Using Chain of Vapor to bounce an own ninja when blocked, then ninjutsu out again, sac a land, bounce something from another player,...
yeah i also see similar things all the time from their gameplay. It seems like they dont even know how to play the game somtimes
@@Zen-708 They know how to play just fine. Not everyone cares to play 100% optimal all the time but just to have a good time with friends.

one of my 1st commander decks was a scion of the ur-dragon deck, so seeing another full dragon deck is very nice! please keep up the great content, love all the animations and commentary!
