Winchester 30-30 Cowboy Saddle Guns

A pair of vintage Winnies - one is a 1950 model, well used by a horseback riding cowboy with wear from being kept in a saddle holster. The other is a 1968 model, flawless and with no evidence of ever having been fired! These guns are both very accurate, and hold six bullets with a lever action. Unfortunately the video does not show the targets that are being shot at, but every now and then you can hear the distinctive ting of a homemade gong in the far distance. Ain't nuthin better than having a few beers and wastin' bullets!

Great video guys. I have repeatedly stated that the Winchester model 94 30-30 is the greatest hunting rifle ever made. Lightweight, compact, and capable of taking any animal in North America within its range which is about 200 yards.

I have my late grandfather's - in .32 special - that was made in the 50's. Can't put a scope on 'em because they eject out the top.

If it don’t got a saddle ring, it is not a “ cowboy” rifle. Posting for a friend. Read about just who Carbine was. Oh yes we don’t explore history. I’m not taking away anything you have shown. Tween 65 and 74, Winchester lost their business and thought the new ar gvt contract was their business. Pistols and rifles went downhill
