I reflect on my life. I have known violence since I was a child. Love was merely the absence of pain. And love was only given if I proved myself. I was always a failure of a child. Not smart enough, not quick enough, not pretty enough, and certainly not string enough. I have felt the absence of love for years and years. I hungered for it. So throughout my life I have done all that I could to better myself. Grow stronger and stronger. And despite everything that I've done, it's still never enough. I go back, to my childhood, where violence was the only thing consistent in it. I regret to say, at the end of it, Was I meant to become a bigger monster as to kill my tormentors? Is violence the final test?
