short answer, autumn
Winter doesn't seem that bad at all. In North US we get to -15 C somewhat regularly, and here he's saying it's about as cold as it gets.
This helped a lot. I wasn't even considering going in winter, but I am now! Thanks!
Great video with lots of info!
thank you for explaining well and id love go visit torres del paine . hopefully i go this year
Very informative! Such a beautiful place, with lovely people. I hope to return to Patagonia someday and spend more time.

UNBELIEVEABLE!
Thank you so much for this! Very informative, well edited and enthusiastically presented. Thanks for getting me excited about maybe traveling here :D
Thank you Tim! All so clear,! Fantastic video to watch,!
I would probably chose April.
I'm going early April next year. I hope it doesn't rain much. The change of color is absolutely stunning during autumn.

Hello! If traveling from El Calafate to Torres del Paine towards the end of October, is the border crossing from Argentina to Chile open at that time of year?
Too cold there, & too much wind
Awesome! coming all the way from
Australia. How can we get details of your accomodation please?
Great! :) Here you go : www.ecocamp.travel or email us at reservations@cascada.travel
Did you end up going? We are planning a trip from Australia and would love any tips!

Great video, thank you. Where is the waterfall you look out over at the beginning of the video, where you saY “It’s great for the hours of daylight’ please?
Thank you! It's Cascada Paine :)
Absolutely love the cloud shot ! Thanks for a fun and informed video !
Few questions though,
If I travel at the end of March, does it consider off season ?
Also, where can I get information about renting a tent if I want to camp in the park,
How much does it cost and how early should I book to camp inside the park ? (If I want to do the O and W solo)
Is there any hostel near the park as well ?
Thank you so much and I'm sorry for asking too many questions !
(From a high school math teacher in the U.S hihi...)
Alex)
Thank YOU! "Off-Season" starts in May and ends in early September. End of March is considered "Shoulder Season" (up to early/mid April). As for tent rentals, there are rental options in all the main refuges and campsites of the park, owned by VERTICE and FANTASTICO SUR. Both the prices and the rental options can be checked with these options, or you can also book a trek with us and all these logistics are included! We are a hotel located inside the park, right next to the beginning of the Towers' Base Trek (www.ecocamp.travel). As for hostels, there are hostels in the nearest city, Puerto Natales (a 2-hour drive from the park). In the park you will find refuges (dormitories), campsites and hotels. Just let us know if you have any other question. Cheers!
@@EcocampTravel thank you for your response !
If I book with your company, how much does it cost, for how many days and what is included please ! Do I have to carry all my stuff during the time of trekking as well ?
Thank you !
Alex
