My brother's jack acts tough with everyone but me ( I'm disabled and had other health issues in past year) if he sees me he sits down and headbutts my hand to pet him
That's why we own Jack Russells. Little guys with big teeth, strong jaws, and attitude. Like a derringer. Pocket sized .357 magnums. You could easily tote one around. First time someone harasses you, CHOMP jerk will be 😭 let it off me 😆

I have a rescue Silky who does this. He is the most terrier of any Silky I've ever owned and it took me a long time to figure out that this was just his way of saying whatever it is he's saying. Just the same, when he's in this mode I don't push him because I really don't want to find out if he's actually angry. Terriers are special!
