The tyre is very important, I think the pre-production tyre was CYT H-5145, 1st Batch was Dalishen CX321 which some people love and others say it has tendency to tram line (not quite as badly as the Z10) . 2nd Batch ChoaYang CXT H5167 which on consensus seems favourite. Finally some people put on the CST C1488 from the Nikola, which I believe is better on the road than track. Not so much from experience but from what I have picked up - open to corrections
Nice one Eddie. I was waiting for this wheel but will wait a bit longer till the kinks get ironed out. Look forward to a fast dry run. Thanks for sharing.
Yes, I definitely see the shaking, even before the note come out. It’s shaking all the time. It’s terrible, specially on the high speed. Very strange situation, considering your ride on the perfectly flat surface.
Thanks for these videos Eddie. Did you get a chance to test ride the Nikola at the meetup? Can you compare the comfort of the Nikola tire compared to the KS16x?
Seems pretty clear to me that the wheel is a little bit of it's center axis and that's why you get those pulsating wobbles when you ride. You have to check if it's the metal Rim/Wheel or the Tire. If it's the tire it's an easy fix, just get a new tire. Just talk to the shop where you bought it. I hope you bought it from a quality vendor and not of a chinese aliexpress seller.
Thank you for sharing! Seems like this is going to be a nice wheel, once they are done tuning it. I have the XL and love it. How tall is the handle on this one compared to the XL? I guess a bit shorter, but comparable?
Why did you lower the tire pressure? If it was to get a larger tire footprint, for better traction, you may have caused the tire occilation AND made it easier to hydroplane.
You have big balls riding in that rain! I can see the hydroplaning. Why do you prefer 20 psi? I ride my 18L at 40 psi. Which do you prefer? 18L or 16X?
Adam U I feel that higher psi, I don’t feel grounded. The wheel is more twitchy. Also, with higher psi, I don’t get the dampening. I like the more torque of the 16X. But not sure about the extra weight. Struggling to lift it into my car. It is 7lb difference. If I didn’t have the 18L, I would get the 16X.
Eddie Moy - It is a beautiful wheel and I agree with your last statement. I would get the 16x too if I didn’t have the 18L. Did you use your Sony X3000 for this video? The stabilization is impressive. Great job btw in cranking out this video in one day.
Gustavo Testa you will be surprised how maneuverable the 16X is. It is very nimble. The tire on the 16X is nice and round. Lends to carving. I never had the Tesla. Limited time I had with it, wasn’t special. The shell is weak, lots of people who had it complained about the durability. Ergonomics was t good.
Wow, is this wheel out in the stores now? Can one order it? Since I was going to upgrade from a king song 14 to a 16 , I wanted to see a review of the model X to find out if it is worth the extra money over the 16S. So far your the first reviewing this wheel:) Thanks! Looking forward to seeing more. How would you compare the 18xl to 16x comfort wise?
Vince -nt If you’re referring to the one he’s riding he didn’t buy it - it’s a demo sent to their EUC club from King Song so that the members could help them bypass potential problems before first-run production. I think it’s a genius idea especially since I’ve put my 500 bucks down already gambling they’ll get it all worked out by August when it’s actually set to be released.
..20psi tire pressure! U got to bring it up to 40psi to form the designed coutour ..low tire pressure also put stress on the firmware and battery ! Try driving yr car with 20psi 😁 and write a report on its performance and tell Toyota engineer !
Agree 20 is really low... at 30 I can clearly hear the rubber molding the surface of the asphalt (170lbs). I tried lower then 30 and it was wobblier. At 33 to 40 it is different. I recommend you try multiple psi, it may be the cause of the oscillation.

Awesome 😎 thanks brother!! Did the wheel have any problems after getting wet??
I just got mine in November and it does the shaking when I hit the high 20’s into the 30’s.

Szia, ez a kerék vízálló? Nem ment tönkre az erős eső miatt?

The Nubrella handsfree umbrella would be perfect for an EUC.
Lillian well technically any umbrella is good since your hands are free unlike with a bike or scooter you need one or two hands to operate safely.
@@eddiemoy True and good point. But if holding a phone or selfie stick it could be handy to not have an umbrella stick also.
That's not heavy traffic! I wish light traffic were as sparse as that here in the SF Bay Area!
Jon Stern lol, it isn’t the traffic you get in the city, but this the traffic you get in the burbs.

Ronny same exact height.
@@eddiemoy Perfect! Might be what I am looking for. :)

Adam U I don’t use the x3000 for these because I don’t have a gimbal for it. I use the hero session 2 with Feiyu gimbal on a stick.
Can't really decide between this and the v10. The 16x cots almost twice as much as the v10.
Big Boss buy what you can afford. You will always want to upgrade. I’m still looking for a faster wheel.
Please, in terms of carving and maneuverability, isn't the v10f better because of a narrower tire? What about the Tesla?

@@eddiemoy thank you!
@@eddiemoy do you think it's more nimble the v10f?
@@GustavoTestaCorrea yes, the v10f likes to stay up for some reason, think it is because it is top heavy. this 16x is well balanced. very nimble.
Rapha 194 16X. I hated the z10
My 18XL pulsates also. I'm on firmware 1.11
Did they fixed this issue?

It should be available in a months time. Still going through some last minute firmware tuning..
When did you buy the 16X?

@Ronnie Dylan; Thanks for the clarification Ronnie.
There almost the same style, the house

tire pressure for EUC is a personal preference. it isn't the same as a car where your weight is insignificant.

Nice,houses tho
What psi is the tire rated for?
A Viking think it is 45 psi
