All those transistors & diodes are a waste of money & time taking... Read the data sheets for the above I.C's, very little external components are needed for a very good & accurate display. Some good designs are available on the internet for good & accurate Stereo V.U Meters... Explore & study the options, if you know how to combine electronic components & read circuits you will know what I mean. There are a lot of glorified guys out there on UA-cam think they know a lot about electronics but all they do is show you a lot of bullshit & the more components on their projects you think it's well & good, (not necessary).... Audio Visuals components are not that difficult to figure out if you know how to use their functions on a circuit. Please read my comments very well before giving me any reply...

I draw pcb in JLCPcb 10 pcs. circuit board must order 15 cards 5 reserve. The card will be 223 X 18 MM. I manage to get everything baked into the whole long card! AMAZING?? :)
Actually that's not critical, for 12 vdc you can use 220 ohm up to 4k7 resistor for each LED bulb, in fact the different manufacturer will be a different LED quality lights.

If you want 20 LEDs light up at the same time, you just need to paralel all LEDs and then use 220 ohm 1 watt Resistor series to the LEDs, then connect it to 12 vdc dirrectly.
This is just the result of my research experiment, till today the schematic diagram just still in my brain. So if you need it you can draw it your self.

That's up to you, but if you want the LED more bright up then you should use the lowest resistor value :D
