I’m a very simple shooter in a sense that I don’t really modify anything more than my trigger on my guns. And being in the competition world has shown me that the more you mod your gun, the more issues arise. I’ve seen people with comps and ports have all kinds of interesting malfunctions. Only a few brands and porting companies do it right, and radian is one of them. I have yet to see one go down at a match or at a range session. They are well engineered and vastly underrated for the value that you get. It’s crazy to me that people still ask “is it worth it”. Because in this case, it is always worth it. I personally don’t have any plans to get one simply because I like the challenge of running my guns almost stock for training purposes. But you definitely get a performance boost running one of these.
I really enjoy your channel / videos. So much relevant and valuable information. We need more channels like yours in this space. More needs to be said about taking the time to research and buy the right gun for the individual, then becoming proficient with it before thinking about buying any others. Work on the main, get good with it, then upgrade it and make it what you want it to be. My only caveat is if the aesthetics will encourage you to shoot more. Personally, I went through so many different guns and I always go back to three that are all relatively similar. My 45 MOS, MR 920 and X-Macro. I got proficient with all of them, then added the extras. Radian comp and barrels for the 45 mos and MR 920. Mischief machine grip and custom panels for added grip and more “hump” on the backstrap to more closely replicate the Glock angle (which I like). All of my other pistols have been relegated to the range and for people to try out.
I just got mine two days ago and love it!!!I got it for my Glock 19 gen3 it needs to be turned a little bit so I ordered the Radian recoil spring to clean it up a bit but see runs good to me so thanks for this video Sir
I enjoyed your review, and that you didn’t waste time regurgitating info that can be found on Radian’s website. You gave an honest opinion and I appreciate that. I have 2 questions: is it louder than without the compensator and does it send more lead dust into your face?
Thanks for your input! We see so many on UA-cam say what they are paid to say! I wanted to build one with it! But will it work with a many different slides?
Got mine for my p365 when they first came out. Definitely worth the cost. I aleady had the holstera and grip modules for a macro so radian making it flush fit perfectly for macro holsters and grip modules was all more a reason to get it.
I loved my ramjet just felt it should’ve been like 320 and not 400. It does feel flatter. Just not 44 percent flatter.. the fit and finish is top tier. Nice gun 🫡🫡
Ive ran over 500 rounds with the shield plus carry comp and 500 rounds through the ruger pcc in a single range session and i havent noticed a problem on my wrists. My issue is i dont have any money to do that again
I really wish that there was a version of this for 40Sw and 10mm there's not a lot of options for compensators for shooters of those two calibers. So the market is there
my friend i trust even though i trust my own experience, the radian is for guns that need it. the zev doesnt need it. the barrel it comes with and how its built. leave it as is maybe 15lb recoil spring. put it on a glock. at first i didnt think he was right at all but then i slapped the zev barrel back in i was surprised how flat it shot with its factory setup. it shot better than with the ramjet. now it is shooter to shooter but for the zev. i just wouldnt. throw it on a glock. zevs shoot flat as shit already. i noticed much more benefits on the 365 ramjet than the glock style. that ramjet is noticeably different
I’m gone have to say, “it isn’t worth the investment”. I think if a person isn’t a good shooter and doesn’t fully grasp the Baer mechanics of operating a pistol, then it’ll just start to mask their deficiencies. And for a person that’s a solid all around shooter, something like this will make your well gained skills, diminish if used too long. Again, my opinion. I’m no expert. Just giving what UA-cam is here for. Comment and opinion
You can buy 20 pair of shoes but you got one pair of feet, you can own 10 cars you can only drive one at a time. What’s the point owning more than one gun if you don’t know how to shoot any of them. Less is more.
This is the mindset that I’ve always had. Yeah different calibers and platforms serve a different purpose but most of the time that someone says the they need a new gun, it’s something they already have or is so similar that I can’t tell the difference. It’s their money so NOMB tho
@ I been dying for one, but I chose to get my first ar for the Black Friday sales. Lol. I’ve heard nothing but good from people who have used them in the sig. some say it’s better then the comp macro

@@ConcreteCowboyx well put. Also it's good to see you on here. I dig the channel

I love your content, out of all the guntubers on UA-cam you have the coolest personality. No fluff
Thanks for watching bro appreciate the love 🙏🏽

Oh yea you’ll love that setup

Thanks for your input. I'm patiently waiting for the PDP setup to drop.
Have it on a P365. Definitely worth it! Like you said, it makes the shooting experience more "funner" 😅
😂🙏🏽
Ordered mine as a Christmas gift to myself! Can’t wait to take it to the range
Man you’re gonna love it! Lol

I am desperately waiting for Radian to drop one for the G43x.
Surprised they haven’t tbh
Next year
@@johnnyc8065 yea it cant come fast enough
I like mines a lot. My G17 is super flat now. Dope content bro.
If you're patient you can also find them on sale. Mine was a blem from primary arms for $250
Yup paid $265ish for one last year
Nice 👍. Ever shot a Monsoon Tactical Chunk Port? If so, how does its muzzle rise mitigation compare to the ramjet?
Think its great. Def notice a difference in recoil impulse.
Nice review. I have been on the fence about this compensator. Looks like I will get it when my funds are right. Thanks
It’s worth it bro. I especially love the fact that you don’t have to modify your gun and can revert to factory configuration

😂 I felt this bro
I been itching for one of these for my p365, but decided i wanted a ar first.
The ramjet with the shalotek grip module is my future build
Hey. What do you think of shadow systems? I want to try them.
Are you using the captured dpm recoil spring?
Would you consider the hypercomp?
I would. If I could find one at the right price I’d consider it for sure
I really wish that there was a version of this for 40Sw and 10mm there's not a lot of options for compensators for shooters of those two calibers. So the market is there
They would clean up for sure!
Yes. I believe they state 69% increase in accuracy.
+420 cool factor
Being compliant in all states made them a clear winner over Herrington arms and PMM
It’s a huge plus. No one gets left behind 🫡🙏🏽
I run mine on a Glock 19 and it is worth every penny and I love running it on my carry gun.
I have 2 ramjets and I’ve never had a malfunction. One of them I have over 7k thru and the other is newer
Yeah I’ve never heard of anyone having issues with theirs they just run 🙏🏽
Have one for my g19, want one on a g26.
What type of frame is that??
It’s the X frame from Zev
Once i get a Glock 19(x) I'll probably get it, maybe they have one for the SAR9 SOCOM?
I think slowly they’ll add more and more compatible models for different platforms

Which DPM spring do you run on your guns? I am still playing with the different weights to give me the most softest but balanced shooting experience.
I just bought one and the compressor for my glock 19x i wish they made one for the sig p320
Wouldn’t be surprised if they did
I like mine. I run all kinds of ammo with no issues but I do think it's definitely over priced imo. I shoot three days a week.
The simple answer is yes go for it fellas 😂😂
😂😂🙏🏽
@@dariuskincaid The MRP and XRP are Glock clones that already come comped so that’s a option and the performance is just as good as the Radian set up
Add the Johnny Glock vex trigger and this gun is over the top
It is a cool looking pistol.
1:51 probably meant "seconds" otherwise likely out of ammo in 5 minutes.
😂🙏🏽

I can agree with this!
Yes
Want to hear about your situation where you sent someone to the upperoom in self defense, which ultimately saved your life
@7:44 Sounds like it's time for a younger wife.

Someone is a radian fanboy 😂lol
😂😂
I got It for flexing points just a overpriced comp honestly
😂💪🏾🔥
I want a ram jet but I also am poor. Atm I’d rather buy 2k rnds and shoot my Glock more.
You can find them used or blem versions bro. So it can still be had just takes a little longer to source 🙏🏽
Radian makes a $500 lower lol
That’s too rich for me 😂 I gotta move up a couple tax brackets before I pull the plug on that lol
@ fo sho
Great product, insanely overpriced.
Got my from brownells for 290 shipped with sale and coupon code now waiting to get one for my 47 hang in there you'll get one cheaper
That’s not bad at all actually
I been itching for one of these for my p365, but decided i wanted a ar first.

You won’t regret the 365 ramjet
