Hey thanks for this video. I was actually at that mall in a few weeks ago because of the Daiso there. I discovered that puff place and the Gong Cha tea place inside it as well. The puff place was good, they had a nice matcha lava cake thing that was fire. The tea place was ok, their green tea wasn't matcha but still good. If you get a chance you should check out the Daiso store there next time, as they have a lot of Asian snacks and cool unique Japanese stuff. NYC has a crazy amount of Asian food chains available nowhere else but Asia. I'm always on the hunt for them so I just added T-Swirl to my list and will also now be going to an Ugly Donuts I found out was near me in Bushwick. Thanks!
I’d sooo love to live in your neighborhood!! I love that food and I’d eat it everyday!! I’m in upstate NY and there isn’t a variety like that. I love fish but I’m afraid to eat it raw. I can do California rolls tho. Fireworks scare me! Was your kitty scared? Great video🙂
It is actually a nice area when it comes to the food we have. But personally, I can't eat more than half of the food in this neighborhood unless it is halal. So I can't eat chicken, beef at all and I don't even eat pork. And a lot of chinese and korean dishes in here are heavy on the pork and meat. But from time to time I find gems like that :p. Personall, I barely go to upstate NY since it feels so far but I imagine there is not many shops compared to here. Also my cat was actually fine with the fireworks. She was sleeping while it was happening :p.
@@SugaDoodles You don’t have halal restaurants near you? I live all the way at the Canadian border!! I can’t wait to be able to go to Canada again because they have good restaurants there. I’m so choosy where I go because I’ve gotten food poisoning so I cook at home more. Plus it’s cheaper. You have a tough kitty there!! 😂 We don’t mind fireworks at a distance. They scare me especially the big ones that sound like 🧨!! I love your videos- keep up the great work!! 🤗 🙏🏼 🇱🇧
In the area I live in unfortunately we barely have any halal places. Maybe three max. I have never been to canada I feel I will just hate my life there since I can't stand the cold :p. Sorry to hear about the food poisining. it sucks so bad. Totally understand why u cook at home. And yea the kitty is one tough cookie. She actually had a little surgery today. hope she continues being tough and heals well! And thank u so much :)
finally clicked on the bell icon to get notifications, ur videos bring me peace at work when i have time, i always wanted to try an authentic new york style pizza , even the one with the grease that u have to use a napkin to dry it a bit , get a hotdog with everything from a cart , order some chinese takeout in that cardboard box, u know, the works..... btw, i am dying for a real cheesecake, not the horrible stuff they do here, the last good cheesecake i had was at MUG & BEANS in Abu dhabi , and that was a real cheesecake, i was also surprised to know that even KFC and PIZZA HUT over there offered a great one, the ones in lebanon are so weak, so bland and have no crust on the side. btw, those are all some really delish foods u got there, like to try a corndog , and would love to try more weird ramen noodles also. great video, enjoyed it a lot, u have a good day and can't wait for the next one.
thank you so much! It makes me really happy that at least someone is enjoying what I put out! I would say New York pizza is not that great. People here love it though. Personally too much grease for me. feels like you are eating a greasy cardboard. the cheesecake though is amazing here. I never managed to finish one in one go before though. I love Pizza Hut in Lebanon actually way more than the one here.KFC never actually tried it in US. corn dog was amazing!
@@SugaDoodles i am pretty sure u are sampling some amazing american only joints like in n out and 5 guys , also, my fave , popeye's , i freaking love their fries and biscuits, since u know, biscuits are not a thing here , and of course Church's chicken, that is simply known as texas chicken outside the usa for obvious reasons....i won't lie, i love food , especially trying things, i think the most fun i had in my life was trying a TBONE steak one time and telling everyone i had the steak we used to see as kids in the tom and jerry cartoons, yup, i am really that immature.
