Does it matter if the wires are in reverse going to the solenoid from the board? Newer Kenmore Elite HE3T. Im assuming basic principles still apply.
Put a new valve in but will not open, old was leaking???

So if the pressure switch diaphragm and contacts are good and the washer still over flows what then? I have a hose connected to the switch and if I blow/apply pressure to the switch the filling stops so I know the fill valve isn't stuck open. What is the other side of that hose connected to on the tub?

How much is a Water level switch ?
My washer is only filling up so much about halfway even if I have it on Super Load !

If you send us your model number, we can point you to the right switch for you, and let you know how much it might cost. On average, the switch costs around $50 though.

This doesn't work on electronic sensors which operate and look almost identical ..

Machines do not really use analogue sensors these days. This is dated.
