I found that when tinting icons to a colour you like it doesn’t apply it properly and it just totally dims it. Tinting also completely breaks the automatic light dark option. You can’t switch between the two. You have to hard reset to get it to work. Happens on iPad too. It’ll get fixed eventually. It’s actually been very stable beta and the important stuff works. The bugs I’m getting are just ui cosmetic ones. Battery life for me has been fine.

You don't have to press and hold the volume slider to enlarge it and have more options! In beta 3 you can just tap it, it basically does the same, no one seems to talk about it...

There’s one thing you didn’t mention, and that’s to do with the iMessage effects. When you use any words, that is listed in the effects, you get an option under the word to automatically add that effect.
Heads up messages do not trigger notifications when you lock your phone. The messages themselves are fine and it doesn’t matter what your settings are at. They just do not trigger notifications for some reason.
Just a little while ago my iphone 13 on IOS 18 beta 3 lagged and stop working, the screen froze, the power button and the volume buttons were not working, the screen went black with a little loading animation after 3 minutes, it started working again😮💨 Did this happen to anyone else
I have this issue where if i edit my control center and then power off my phone completely it either gets rearranged or some of the icons dissapear it looks like stuff that were already in the control center like brightness, volume, focus, portrait lock, flashlight, and more arent affected whats dissapearing for me is the open app shortcut, the normal shortcut, reduce white point, ping my watch, and voice control
Just tried ios 18, on band new iPhone 13, it’s slow and laggy compared to ios 17 it’s really noticeable. Restored back to ios 17.5.1 and the speed and snappiness is back.

I have an iPhone 15 running iOS 18 beta 3 and last few days my phone has randomly started heating up. I’m making sure all the background apps are closed but the only way to cure it until the next time is to reset the phone. Has anyone else had this ?
My 15 Pro is overheating, it is so hot when i'm charging and sometimes the phone gets literally so hot when i'm scrolling on instagram, almost always is my phone hot and it effects my battery like crazy i have to charge twice a day!

I know this is off topic, but has anyone else been experiencing Safari tabs freezing up on just about any website on MBP? Ever since updating to Sonoma 14.5, I'll be doing activity at any given website on a tab and suddenly I can't do anything on that page any longer. Nothing I type shows, nor can i click on anything. Command R does nothing. I have to click up by the url and hit enter, or else close the tab and open another and reload the page from scratch. Anyone else been experiencing anything similar?
I really wish Apple would improve the consistency of the system wide back gesture. Just try how a Pixel phone does it for 20 seconds and implement it as an option. It's infinitely better
@@zollotech It works differently the way Apple has it implemented and it's not consistent in Apples own apps. You can only swipe from the left not either side of the screen. It doesn't hide the keyboard, pull you out of full screen without leaving the app, undo actions, etc like it does system wide on android. Developers on Android do not need to implement it if it's a system wide feature. It's just not systemwide on iOS in the same way.
i waited like an hour but i am still stuck on "preparing updates". I did the restart the phone method to install it again but it still stuck idk why... my phone has a huge amount of free space storage...
7:37 so is the issue of audio not producing when playing podcast faster than 1x to a none Apple Bluetooth speaker fixed? When playing at the normal speed the sound is output is ok but changing the speed to anything faster then the audio drops out while the podcast continues to play.

I found so many problems with beta 3. When playing pokemon go and if tab to another app the game goes mute and i have to close it and re open to have sound, also some niantic campfire app only works once and if i close it i cant use the app unless i redownload it
When I updated to beta 3, accessibility ui server turned on by itself and there was an orange recording icon on the top right of the status bar item. There’s no sound at all and i can’t change it. It only turns on when I turn on a video and it’s on forced max.

I want control of organizing APP LIBRARY how I want. I dont like the way it is organized and you cant make changes so I have NEVER yet been able to use App Library. I WOULD if I could change folders and move apps to other more relevant folders I make but the way it is set up isn’t helpful

Can you change the way dark mode works for apps? Like dark mode for the menues etc. we can set that to change throughout the day based on sunrise / sunset, so in the evening and nigth it goes to dark and during daytime it goes to bright.

yes. if you set the app icons to automatic they’ll follow system. then just turn on the light/dark mode shift in Display and Brightness > appearance > automatic
On the volume and brightness slider you now can tap it just to open. You don’t only have to long press it.

It automatically turns on when you play a game and gives more RAM and Processing power to the game and reduces controller latency

RCS reverts back to SMS when connected to Apple CarPlay. Not sure if this is intended or not but figured I'd mention it.

It has that, but its the devs who don't implement it. Apple did it years before pixel, but then some developers decided not to sue it.

Install Xcode on your Mac and plug your iPhone in and it will automatically show up. Also turn on Developer option.

Yes, but you could do that with iOS 17 as well. However, the app itself has to support it.
