Its a shame that the comments are filled with people complaining about how the aircraft has a Double Wasp instead of the original Centaurus the display and the sounds are still fantastic.
Resently restored Hawker Sea Fury FB11 D-CRZY, flies with it's original centaurus engine. Resently restored Hawker Sea Fury OO-ISS Iraqi Air Force, flies with it's original centaurus engine. Resently restored Hawker Sea Fury G-CBEL, flies with it's original centaurus engine. Being restored to fly with its original centaurus engine Hawker SeaFury D-CACE at MeierMotors Sea Fury T20 WG655/G-INVN had it's centaurus swapped with a p/w2800 as it was thought to be more reliable crashed August 2020 because of engine failure. Would it still be flying if it had stuck with it's original centaurus engine i wonder.
Whatever engine it has , it's a pleasure to see it in the air
I'm Guessing it has the P&W R2800 instead of the Bristol Centaurus.

I want to record that fantastic-sounding engine noise and set it as my morning alarm clock tone!
One of the first warbirds I've ever seen was the Hawker Fury at Planes of Fame Chino, CA. over 30yrs ago.

Fantastic aircraft.
I like how you posted this on Bernie’s birthday too lol

Sadly, it has the incorrect engine, so it's not representative of a proper Sea Fury (don't bother replying, Wilbur Finnegan, we know your opinion)
Sounds like an R-2800.
Yet it was the so called great R2800 as he puts it that caused a Sea Fury T20 to crash.
That was awesome 🤩
Are those smoke-generating cartridges for added smoke trail effects?
They are for spoiling the whole viewer’s experience. 😕
Nice!!!!!!
Does anyone know if EAA is gonna be doing airshow live this year 2023?
Does that have the sleeve valve engine..? Sounds quiet ..
strphenricktrew NOPE !!!! Its junk !! It has the great PW R2800 in it !!! !
@@wilburfinnigan2142 The great PW R2800 that caused a T20 to crash!
Pratt and Witney engine or the original Bristol Centaurus engine?
P&W R-2800. Four blade prop, rotating the opposite way to the Centaurus prop, and it sounds nothing like the sleeve-valve Centaurus
Neither it’s a Wright R-3350 Duplex-Cyclone.
Was it Bernie Vasquez flying?
👍
It sounds like a p47
willb Because it has a PW R2800 engine same as P47 The POS centaurus is over engineered over complicated and expensive why the engine swap !!!
Without the AMERICAN MADE PW R2800 that plane would be sitting somewhere gathering dust !!!

Obviously. Because no other country makes aero engines. I'd like to thank the Americans for everything ever invented.
Not really as it would be flying with the original Centaurus engine.
@@dawidos117 Not really as other radial engines are available including Wright R3350, Shvetsov ASh-21 or even original Bristol Centaurus.
