- Indian people are amazing and I love the way how they treat foreigners in India. But this time something unexpected happened. But let me tell you also about the good things that you will see in this video: I ate delicious Thali for lunch, tried a drink that I've never tried before and I met plenty of friendly Indian people. This video will be continued with a second part (2/2) and you will see how 2 kids guide me through their neighbourhood, on the way to get some delicious food.

How do you like the camera quality by the way? Please share your honest feedback.
Hi,im from sri lanka .better to use gimble or something. camera is shaking. other than that camera quality is 9 out of 10
You don't plan the trip, that is why you have bad experience in India. Use couch surfing, speak with German - Indian settled person or contact embassy for tour guidance. This may help you for good experience in India.
I am from Chennai settled in Aachen. Germans are known punctuality but their trains sucks including ICE always late.
@wildcarlosappeared that old grandpa was gelousy of you bro, its good that you ignored him, he shouldn't have asked where are you from , where are you going.. i am also from chennai. but what the bus conductor did is correct he gave you the ticket to last bus stop so you can get down wherever you like to .... but again this old fellow i don't know what kinda attitude is that, sometime these kind of people try to act hero and think to help others.. hope you enjoyed chennai tour..
@@youngsheldon4969 lol Indian trains are anywhere better they are 25 hours late sometimes also quite dirty. Besides he wants to visit and travel India as his own adventure not some fancy tourist group who won't even show many local stuffs And will restrict stuff like eating Street foods taking old Street vehicles etc
Old man English communication is little bit so this English normal in India 😅
I am an Iranin & I am in Chennai RN, I hve been to many cities, but people here are so friendly especially the Tamil people. I’m in love with Tamil people, but I am so sorry to tell you that the way how you respond them back was too rude the cleaning lady was smiling at you & you didn’t even check her reaction, so I feel you need to reconsider your act. My experience in Chennai is amazinnnng again Tamil people are the best🥰

We Indians consider Iranians as our elder beothers and Afghans as younger brothers.
You seem to be newly born. You cannot expect everyone to react the way you like. It's not necessary to look when she smiled. What is he supposed to do? Stop telling people to be perfect.
If he replied for this😮..
No, that old man in a bus was so rude....as an Indian I didn't like that man's behavior 😒
Dude, your attitude in the entire video was over the top ! It seems you already decided to show bad about the place ! You spoke to everyone in public as if you come down from a kingdom ! You will get similar experience wherever you travel across the world ! Have peace !
I completely agree, seems a bit of a fool
Yes hethinks German mean he is top of this world holding a plastic toy and he begs money from india
germans are the most rude people and they treat tourist like shit he should be ashamed of himself saying that im not even indian and i see he was annoying af
U r rude
Yes, right you are rude fool.
It’s a good thing the conductor was on your side. The conductor was asking the rude person to stop talking. I am pretty sure that rude guy is a narcissist.
Maybe he is. Or he was just confused that I said 'I don't know' 🤔
@@WildCARLOSappeared I am from Chennai. It’s rare to see someone exploding like this to a stranger unless his usual behavior is like that. 😅

That old man is too rude at the same time your reply to the conductor also not right, conductor job is too busy at the time you simply said i dont know where i am departing then how can he give you the ticket, your reply to the conductor is hurt to that old man so he react like that , but old man not necessary to react that much
That's 100% how I would have described that situation as well. At least I've learned that next time I ride a bus and I'm not sure where to go I will just ask the conductor to give me the highest ticket

@@RoshanAntonyTauroit‘s actually "ausländer raus". Which means: foreigners out
@@RoshanAntonyTauro You cannot make a broad statement about German buses like that based on one incident. Every country has good and bad people. People in other countries are often better behaved than Indians. They are much more cultured and polite. That's the reality. Full stop.
Some of the comments are crazy, saying the old man wasn't rude. When a clear foreigner is in your country and just taking a simple bus ride to wherever looks nice, that's actually amazing and the epitome of traveling alone and back packing, you don't just say "then get off the bus!". And if you defend this behavior you're part of the problem. But when you do a whole video and only pump in to one rude person, that's some good odds. Most Indians and Tamils I met in my life have been wonderful people
Well said 🫶 For every 1 rude or weird person I meet around 999 kind persons 🙏🏼
well even as a native, so far I've observed almost everyone seems to lack basic human grace and humility, whenever I try to be nice and greet someone they barely reciprocate the gesture, ungrateful when being helped and so full of conceit to be kind.
What happens that in Govt buses , there are random surprise checkings to check whether ticket collector has given tickets to pasangers or is he allowing people to travel without buying a ticket in exchange of little bribe which is less than cost of ticket . If any passanger gets caught without ticket the passanger may get away by paying fine but bus conductor may get suspended from his job .. so he's asking to get down as u had no ticket also u dint tell him the place till where he'd issue a ticket. He is just saving his job.
They talk like this to locals too.Iwould say it was rude you are being a bit erratic
The Old man was not rude I think.Normally no one gets into a bus without knowing where to go,and if people get in a wrong bus, they just are allowed to get out without buying a ticket. Also if you are exploring randomly, get a ticket for the last stop.
Anyway, we have to treat friendly to our forginors whatever it may be. The old man is rude from my point of view. He is exploring, and randomly, he will get down at any bus stop station. On behalf of him. I feel sorry that you have gone through the bad and rude situation.
Asking someone to get down from the bus impolitely is considered "rude".
dont justify it he was rude indians would fore go it cuz ihe was aged
but it wasnt normal he very well knew he was being rude.
Nah he was rude as hell
Instead of guiding the guy old man told him to get down from the bus, isn't that rude? Proper education, hospitality and politeness are required.
Some people don’t like to be filmed. And UA-camrs should consider that.
Right!!!
India🤡💩💩💩💩
How are you getting inside a bus without knowing where to go?? The fee for ticket varies with different destination.
As an Indian from the north side in India northeast India and South Indian are very friendly most of them are really good in terms of behaviour with tourists.
26:20 i think what happened here was, when they asked you where do you want to go? You said I dont know repeatedly . Then that old man thinking you must be having fun & joking around, as you are an adult person and saying you dont know where you are going.
In Germany if you get on a bus and say the same thing, what do u think, what would happen?
Germans would not demand you to get out of the bus, that goes for any civilized society
no no that is totally rude to do to foreigners. They are here to explore new places . He was saying if he see something special place he will get off the bus . In nepal we will not do like this this is true.
In Germany no one would rudely interrupt you unless there is a proper reason and occasion to talk. Actually in most places that actually value privacy.
😂😂😂
I think may be the old man was trying to say that
"Get down from the bus if you dont know where you are going or else you will end up at some random place" 😂😂😂
And our foreign friend takes it personally😂
Maybe he is not as understanding as you.
He says get out 😂😂😂
Her looks stressed, nervous and even scared at times, this is not a good mental state when traveling India. Take it easy and go with the flow, then the "rude" behavior would have been avoided.

Sometimes the locals don't wanna let me go 😅
I like it that way to be honest. Just sometimes it can be a bit exhausting meeting that many locals haha @@ohigho9717
As a Pakistani, I agree with Carlos' sentiment about India treating foreigners poorly... just kidding! Indian people are kind and friendly to everyone; Don't judge the whole country just because of one bad experience. One rude person doesn't represent the whole country, you just need a few different experiences to realize this.
Nice to hear positive words from a paki that's very rare I think. You sounds to be few of those nice and educated paki❤

Language barrier. But Tamil people have a history for being rude and picking fights and being overly proud even if they have nothing to stand for. Jallikattu should be banned and never allowed.
@WildCARLOSappeared - it happens in every country, and you need to be polite as well. You cant put a generic Statement - India treat bad, you dont find the hospitality and friendship in India, there are multiple instances in your country as well. So use words sensitively.
It's very odd to get into a bus here and say "I don't know where to go". Do you do that in Germany? At least ask for the last stop / max ticket. "Get down from the bus" guy may have meant "You may get down now so that you don't get lost" but that was rude of him...
They put their fingers way to close to your food. Especially because they eat with their hands I would be a lil troubled. looks good tho. Too much mess for my liking dunno if I could eat with my hands like that.
They love being on camera though don't they haha.

Good joke. South India is the most angriest place on earth... How are people surviving there? Afghanistan and Pakistan seem like safer countries. Never seen Pashtun or Balochi ever behave so rudely with any foreigner. Maybe foreigners have some fear because of Islamic countries. But still, nobody is as scary as South Indians...

Sry for inconvenience, here in chennai or any place in tamilnadu, generally in bus they ask where u r want to go , he give the ticket for that place. So while asking the ticket if your answer is i don't know where to go means, then this is the reaction from ticket provider. Thats why one of the passenger over react. 😅
Bro, of course they are gonna get angry if you answer dont know when the conductor asks where you wanna go. At least you should have asked them for suggestions where to go politely instead. Saying dont know just seemed rude.

It's fascinating to hear about the different local recommendations for food in Chennai. I’ve heard Dosa is a must-try! What’s your favourite Indian dish?
it was a misundersanding , its not europ and english its not there 1st lang
@WildCARLOSappeared
1. Pickles (most commonly made out of lemons and mangoes - sour tasting) are served with rice meals and is supposed to be taken little, preferably licked while you have yogurt rice. I saw you gulping the whole piece and it must have been way too sour and salty.
2. They serve chapati (flat bread) along with rice and it is supposed to be eaten with a creamy veggie (1 out of those 7)
3. Rest all were different curries to be mixed with rice and are not supposed to be mixed together. You can still do so if you like the taste (only at home)
4. Papad (the crispy cracker) is just to give the crisp while eating rice and payasam(porridge)
5. After finishing a heavy rice meal, usually they serve sweet paan (you said it right. It is betel leaf) with sweet rose petals and no they don't add betel nut in it and you can chew and swallow the whole thing. It aids in digestion
6. Chai/chaya is the hindi/malayalam equivalent for TEA
7. In tamilnadu, people don't have latte, cappuccino, macchiato, flat white etc. You get filter coffee with sugar and milk. You can ask for strong or light so that the amount of coffee varies. Likewise for sugar and milk. If you ask coffee, it is just filter coffee or plain coffee in most regions of India unless you visit a high end coffee retail shop.
When you try sherbet, a sweetened drink without milk, try "Nannaari" which is a plant root. This essence is believed to cool our body if you have consumed spicy food or have been out in the sun for long.
Thanks for your comment! I guess wildcarlos can do with some education. To me he behaves like a bull in a china shop sometimes 😅
