    If Zaytuna keeps uploading these type of clips , in few years it’ll have millions of students all over the world, we were not taught how to even think at school, we live a biased manipulative lives.

    Well that's basically more of an etymological approach, which is in fact a logical way of figuring out how the world is. Language serves a number of functions, and by knowing what words mean, it helps you better understand the world in my opinion. Also increases your intellect in general, as well as your vocabulairy, obviously. But knowing what words mean, what their origins are, why certain words were used for certain concepts or objects, events or activities.. all of it increases you in knowledge, which really is distinguishing truth from error. I like one definition of knowledge, as given by a muslim scholar when interviewed by Hamza Yusuf actually. The man said that knowledge is putting all things in their proper places. That's really what it comes down to. He gave the example of what Hamza talks about in this clip, which is the classification of living organisms. Putting things where they belong, where they are; knowing their places. Coining valid similitudes is actually part of logic. So if democracy is a Species, then the Genus could be government, with a society being the Family and the individual being the Order. I wish I could be there, in Hamza Yusuf's classes. I never really had a teacher that impressed me, or made a significant impact on me. I envy the students in these classes. I used to listen a lot to Hamza Yusuf, he taught me a lot about a lot of things really. May Allah increase us all in knowledge, wisdom and good deeds, and may Allah bless Hamza Yusuf and his family; Allahuma ameen.

      ​@@williamspringer9447 I don't know why he doesn't tell that. He probably should add that here or there but I believe he too has been played into the idea of the left. America is inherently problematic. Which isn't true. But certainly his has little purpose ever telling both, about the underground history or the problems of America. However, that isn't an etymological approach but more of a word play idea which I believe Wittengenstien really thought about.
      Besides perhaps to you don't see that he is after all a theologian and not a political scientist. His main purpose I would thus presume is spreading what he calls "Normative Islam".
      But I can't at all say that he is a master of disinformation.

However, him playing into the lefts' identities politics of white old men suggests that he didn't like what America was but I would beg to differ that he didn't claim either a negative perspective or a positive one. Afterall, he is American and the natural disposition of man being conservative certainly he ought to be a conservative one. What he in the end conserves however, is Sunni Islam.

      Yeah, don't meet your heroes. I like Hamza Yusuf but I guarantee he would see me as less than human and demean me for no reason. I hate him, he's evil and probably wants to kill me.

    DAESH does not represent us, same for Tariq Ramadan ?????? I wish cheikh Hamza Yusuf and other scholars will speak as soon as possible for our youths, the silence is deafening

      Slaves are not meant to understand the science of Logic. That's why the science of Logic hasn't been taught in our State controlled public schools for more than a century. The Underground History of American Education by John Gatto.
      You notice that this video taught virtually nothing about how to use the science of Logic to understand the world. Why do you suppose that is?
