- Teleman release brand new single “String Theory”, ahead of the deluxe version of their latest album “Good Time / Hard Time”, coming on 22nd September via Moshi Moshi.

Fresh off the back of releasing their most dance-floor focused record yet, Teleman share news of a deluxe version of Good Time / Hard Time, including unheard tracks, outtakes, remixes and acoustic versions. Here’s Tom from the band on the release:
“Once we had released and toured the album, we were aware of these extra songs that were knocking around; songs that should have/ could have made the cut but for one reason or another got left off. As well as that there was the usual big pile of demos and alternative versions that we always have when we come round to making an album. So we thought that a Deluxe version of the album was in order- all the bells and whistles- and to top it all off, we went back into the studio and recorded a brand new track called ‘String Theory’ which came out really well.”
‘String Theory’ is the new track which comes with this version of the album. A slice of cosmic-leaning electronics which finds comfort in the endless vacuum of space:
“I’m fascinated by space, the universe, time travel etc. I think it's because I find comfort in the fact that the distances and objects in the universe are so inconceivably massive that our problems and anxieties here on earth suddenly seem so small and funny. This track uses the figure of an astronaut to represent someone who has gone too far, seen too much to ever return to normality. It seems to tap into a recurrent theme in lots of my lyrics which has to do with escapism- in this case the extreme example of leaving the planet. The moroder inspired outro was something that wasn't part of the demo but came from experimenting in the studio and wanting to create some kind of powerful tension build which finally gets released at the end.”

@@ingvarmikander8382 lol, I feel so funny trying to decipher this, but if you watch the video at 0.25 times the speed starting at 3:22 it really does look and sound like he's saying "I'm at the blank of no return". Could also be time instead of return, but idk, cause either way it does sound a bit like gibberish to me..
I love this song! The video is a straight-up SCP though.
