Great reaction to Joe as always. Yeah the Greek theatre Gig was special for sure. A key factor is choice of material (blues) designed like modern jazz or flamenco for maximum self expression in my view. Much of Joe's early development is encased in ( BB, Albert and Freddie=King) Joe's huge early influence SRV and how fantastic to be running with Reese Wynans SRV's old sparring partner. If it's blues I will be checking in.😎
We went to see Joe for the first time last week at the Royal Albert Hall in London and he didn't disappoint. He put on a great show and the band were amazing. Reese Wynans on the keyboard is 76, the same age as me, I want whatever he's on 😂
Oh wow!
Joe is a great guy as well, got to meet him and had a couple drinks, when a friend of mine opened for him WAYYYYY back in the day!! Seen him live since, and just an incredible talent! How have you not yet done Joe and Beth doing I'll Take Care of You or Nutbush City Limit?!?!? ✌
Joe Bonamassa is probably the best guitarist around at the moment.
I've seen him live on a few occasions and never has he put in a bad performance.
Can I make a suggestion for a track that you may wish to react to?
Some year's ago Joe played at Greenwich, the resulting live album was "British Blues Explosion".
One of my favourites from the show was his version of "Pretending".
Give it a listen, I think You'll enjoy it.
Joe always surrounds himself with talented musicians.
Now, watch HUMMINGBIRD from this concert!!!
Anton Fig ..drummer, part of Paul Schaefer 's David Letterman's Late Night Band, ya know, when Late Night was fun. ❤
Thanks again I loved his appearance at The Legendary Double Door Inn Charlotte NC Home of the Blues. I was there.
Joe baby. Get down ladies!"❤❤❤👍👍
I can't particularly think of any single track of the top of my head, but have a look at Joe's stuff with Beth Hart. Huge voice, huge story and some cracking music.
Agreed. I love Beth Hart's vocals. She inherited Janis Joplins vocal chops.
Uh oh , the girls are back! 😂..this concert was nominated for best Blues Grammy the year it came out..a tribute to the three kings of blues, Albert, Freddie, And BB King. Didn't win it as usual, one of the best damn live shows ever recorded!
A treat is in band on Keyboards, is Reece Wynans , the keyboardist, for Stevie Ray Vaughn! You gals be safe now. ❤✌️
Don't forget the great Gary Moore
Ladies you HAVE to watch live at Radio City Music Hall... Rocks a 3 piece suit and sassy as hell! It's on his channel. "What Would I Do" is a beautiful song
Also he has different bands and different number of members. It depends on what the music calls for.
You gotta checkout video of Joe and Beth Hart performing together. Two huge talents whose styles blend together perfectly. Try them performing “I’d Rather Go Blind” for a near perfect blues experience!
It is on the channel
How about those backup singers, hey? 🔥🔥🔥
Seen him London amazing guitarist
A superbly talented guitarist is Joe.just wish some of your coffee buyers a patrons would get you some Yes, Genesis, Jethro Tull, Porcupine Tree. Seems like the same bands mostly. But love the interaction of you 3 and Donna loves Joe.
You should watch (on a personal level) joe at norms rare guitars he just sits on the couch talk and plays.. you'll really love him
Don't be breaking up somebodys' hope when he's requesting the '73 live version of Hocus Pocus by Focus! 🙂
You should really check out his studio video of "Stop". Really great tune
as good as he is and as much as I luv his work, he'll never sing this song as good as his buddy, Warren Haynes, sings it!!
You need to check out some of his early work with the three piece band with Eric Czar on bass . Pain and Sorrow ?
After watching this I’m taking my guitar back to the shop…..it seems to be missing a lot of notes
Lol
Joe, IMO, IS the greatest Guitarist alive!
