Maria, This one was so amazing! so much emotion! This one, Caught out in the Rain, I thought you would really hear Janis come through even more, and you did!!but she is still Beth through and through. I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Beth Hart's music spans various genres, including blues, rock, and jazz. With a versatile and dynamic musical style, Beth has explored and excelled in multiple genres, showcasing her exceptional range and artistry as a musician. Her ability to seamlessly transition between blues, rock, and jazz has solidified her reputation as a genre-defying artist. Beth's influences : When she was younger, Carole King, James Taylor, Ricky Lee Jones. Later on, Otis Redding, Robert Johnson, Etta James, a lot of Billie Holiday, Dinah Washington, & Sarah Vaughan. Beth's Brother turned her on to Reggae music too. Thanks so much for the amazing reaction, Maria!! More Beth, and other sponsored requests coming soon. God Bless You and your Family & your Beautiful Kitty's, Peace & Love, Thomas & The Kitty's from Indiana
I’m going to say something that I think will be unpopular, but here goes. I love Janis Joplin, and have great respect for her work, but I think that Beth Hart is a better vocalist than Janis ever hoped to be. Certainly, they share a similar style and both are great at emoting, but Beth has survived her demons and had the opportunity for her voice to mature and continue to develop. That being said, let the crucifixion begin. ✌🏼😎 ♥️Beth♥️
Agree. Beth has way more range and way more control and us more purposeful in her choices. Beth absolutely becomes the character in every song whereas Janis was much the same raw abandon in every song which she may have improved had she lived longer.
First of all, how has this been out for two days without a single view? Was it blocked and just released? I know I didn't see it before now. Be that as it may, I thought this was wonderful. The phrase that hit my mind was that this is a true "torch song." Her voice is phenominal and so is her passion.
HI WNYretiree, Your right, This reaction was delayed, Maria told me it was blocked, and she was disputing it. She hoped the block would come off in a couple of days, I'm so glad it did. I'm thinking your a big fan of Beth, that's amazing!!!!! I am too!!!!!! She is absolutely amazing!!!!!!!! Thank you so much, God Bless, Thomas from Indiana
@@thomashaines4379 I do enjoy Beth. As an old rocker/metalhead, I enjoy singers with powerful voices, especially women. Ann Wilson, Floor Jansen, Lara Fabian, Simone Simmons and on. Women who voices ring out over lots of instrumentation. Beth's cerrtainly would.
The most passionate artist I have ever seen and heard 💝
Beth is an absolute force of Nature, and I'm an over-aged FanBoy
