@@SaltytheCrabI took some sign language classes a while back from a man whose daughter was born deaf. NOBODY finger spells everything. It's really a lot more like playing charades than anything else 😂 Finger spelling takes forever

@@MollieFrieWeevilGeniusas a deaf person who constantly loses her hear hearing aids/can lip read and uses sign (fluent) on and off all my life, charades is LITERALLY what it is 😂 but not, it’s basically knowing the base of the conversation and using context clues / watching the persons face. Finger spelling is usually only used for spelling names as it’s personal if they don’t have a sign name.
Someone saying they’re “fluent” in sign but ONLY barley finger spelling with one hand is just 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️

I know the Greek alphabet but don't know the language at all.
They have a LOT of words and phrases in sign language - it's not just the alphabet! They don't go around spelling every single word! Only occasionally for "odd" words that aren't common.

She never expected for Beck to dump her because she had done everything in her power to make Beck super reliant on her by creating a wedge between Beck & her family & talking them into giving up a job they did not want to give up & was more or less badgered into leaving her job which was done by Amber in order to avoid having another Destiny & Dana situation & eliminating any chance of Beck dumping her like everyone else has in the past. She never saw any possibility of Beck walking away w/o any of her own money or a job because she had been under Amber's thumb/employ for 4 of the 5 years they were together. The fact that Beck did leave with basically nothing, but the shirt off her back, no job lined up & into a really rocky, unknown future, is extremely telling of just how badly she needed to get away from Amber for the sake of her own sanity. Anyone who has ever referred to Beck as a gold digger or grifter couldn't be more ill informed.

So she KNOWS she isn't diagnosed with these mental illnesses and STILL, in the present, will NOT get help for them. So that still means she isn't taking accountability for any of her toxic traits. PTSD, OCD, Picking her skin, memory loss, bipolar, depression and more. And never addressed or treating these mental illnesses but knows they cause her to chronicly lie. Can't imagine having her just as a friend with how she speaks and lies non stop. And when confront to address the toxic behavior she cries and plays mental health victim. The emotional and mental abuse she has caused people, I can't imagine.

It’s the $$$. Everyone in her life has said she pays for everything (this might be a slight exaggeration, but this was wording I heard out of Ricky & Eric’s mouths & Destiney has said something VERY similar.) This is kind of sad, but obviously ALR’s self confidence is very low & she knows when she’s in public that she’s basically a spectacle & so that really lowers her chances of making genuine friends in the wild & besides she makes more money than most of the people around her - it’s a perfect storm for people to take advantage of her cuz they want her to keep paying and then her feeling like she has these friends that care about her. Look at how many of them talk shit behind her back! I definitely don’t think she’s an easy person to be around & I personally don’t think I could be her friend. If she was a friend of a friend that was sometimes brought to events maybe I could stand her, but honestly she is pretty annoying (I know I sound like a bitch & I’m not trying to just shit on Amber, but I’ve genuinely thought about this subject quite a bit!) She doesn’t have a true sense of the world out in public because she hasn’t worked in the real world almost a decade & when she’s getting so many of her interactions on UA-cam and other social media sites then that’s not really genuine either. She doesn’t know what the real world is or what real friendships (hell, to take it one step further she doesn’t even know what a relationship between family members should look like because of her childhood. And once again, I’m not attacking her for this, I also had drug addicted parents and was in foster care, but I was adopted at age 8) and so when you’re whole world is online and at a certain level fake - then how could she possibly have a genuine friendship or relationship in her current lifestyle?!

Once she started making her own money, Amber used it in abusive ways to pressure people into doing what she wanted because she would pay. She financially abused Beck by making sure they were dependent on Amber by making Beck quit their job. Because Amber wanted Beck there 24/7 and basically then Beck became/was forced to be Amber's caregiver. Amber has no excuse and refuses to address and change her abusive behaviors, while letting all us know, she knows she has these problems. She just won't fix them because she truly doesn't care and lacks emotional intelligence.
I couldn't even tell this was the Jade era until she got to the pics of them 😬 yiiiikes. She looks as big as ever here. She's breathing SO HARD while just sitting there. And she really wants us to believe her and Jade were intimate? 🤢 She lies about that in EVERY relationship so why would I believe that?
Every time she talks about having a “bad memory” it cracks me up because that’s like a hallmark sign of lying. It’s easy to remember the truth, because it actually happened. It’s much harder to remember a lie, it’s not based on anything concrete. She also remembers all these random things that happened to her or things people said from childhood through last week, but can’t remember these huge events she insisted at the time happened? Yeah that’s the difference. The stuff she remembers actually happened.
So I actually have OCD. It's not quirky. It's fucking debilitating at times. I cannot go a single day without brushing my teeth 2 to 3 times a day, because I am convinced my teeth will fall out if I skip it even once.
One of the tires on my car lost a tiny bit of pressure last week, and since then I have been convinced that I had it overfilled and it will now explode.
And don't get me started on cleaning. It's obsessive. I will scrub my hands to the point of ruin because everything needs to be spotless or my brain convinces me that everyone thinks I'm a disgusting, filthy person. I have to sleep with a window open at all times, no matter how cold it is, because my OCD makes me believe I'll suffocate in my bedroom otherwise.
It makes you do crazy things, and it isn't fun because you know these thoughts aren't rational
I can't tell if this is satire or not. Those are pretty normal things to do besides the last part
I have OCD and I also worry when I put air in my tires. I literally picture the tire exploding in my face. There’s one tire on my car that gets low like once a week and I hate, hate having to put air in it. I also have to hold my breath when filling the back tires because I’m afraid of getting carbon monoxide poisoning. I also sometimes worry that my car engine will explode without warning and have had to pull over and turn the car off so it wouldn’t.
I thought it was only me who worried about their tires exploding. When I told my boyfriend he thought I was being ridiculous.
So she likes to claim she has all of the compulsions that she cannot control, because if she can't control them, people can't say she isn't trying. She puts a barrier between her own actions, and her responsibility for them by saying it is out of her hands. If she had been diagnosed she isn't doing what she needs to deal with those issues, because then she'd lose her "Get out of Jail free" card, at least the one she thinks she has, for every single time she fails. She doesn't over-eat, her body just refuses to drop the weight, it hates her. Like girl your body is you and you live in it, what it does is in correlation to your actions.

I HATE when people treat a symptom as a medical diagnosis! Excoriation literally just means skin picking, it's not a disease! A kid I know told me as he was climbing a tree that he'd hyper extended his knee! Like it was a broken femur or something. It literally means you pulled it or stretched it! Using fancy medical terminology doesn't make it a diagnosis!!!

What do you mean a symptom? In her case specifically as a form of OCD or what? I am not taking her word for it that she has excoriation disorder but it does exist as a disorder. It Likely falls under OCD but it can be used as a separate diagnosis. "Excoriation disorder, more commonly known as dermatillomania, is a mental disorder on the obsessive-compulsive spectrum that is characterized by the repeated urge or impulse to pick at one's own skin, to the extent that either psychological or physical damage is caused".

Excoriation disorder may be considered a mental disorder or a manifestation of another disorder, but using the term excoriation like it's a disease and diagnosis in its own right, coming from someone like Amberlynne who thrives on random diagnoses and things she's heard a doctor mention once is annoying.
100% don't believe she didn't know that 3 strikes would take down a channel. Plus after she said that she didn't want the channel back taken down, why didn't she remove some of the strikes ? Cause again she's a liar
And the fact that, in the video to her audience, she says the only reason she struck the channel so many time was “because she didn’t like that it wasn’t transformative” and there was no other reason but in the email to Apathetic Faxx she brings up money and views? How do you say you arent in love with someone then say "she broke my heart" . The first statement at least to me is that your heart isnt in it. I think her pride got hurt and she lashed out. the rest is her just making a new narrative so she isnt at fault. Until she gets some of that anger or pride dealt with she wont make changes.

When I first started a sign language class, my teacher said he practiced finger spelling with things like road signs. I actually tried to do what Amber is describing here, and it's impossible. Finger spelling is WAY too slow to use any more than the occasional word. She might have gotten a word or 2 at the most per sentence, but it's also distracting, so she probably wouldn't have heard the rest of the sentence anyway
not sure about asl but in the sign language i was taught you need to use both hands. and involve your face with a few letters.
Becoming HOH, finger spelling doesnt mean fluent. Not at all. That is used for certain things like spelling your name, a city (some city have their own signs), stuff like that. Amber only knowing finger spelling, if I stood in front of her and she did nothing but fingerspelling I wouldnt understand her, ASL also requires body language and facial expressions. I'd probably stare at her blankly.

fun fact: i have a thing (idk what to call it) where i will hyper fixate on a singular word, for a short period of time, that i heard in conversation. i usually feel the need to spell the word over and over again with my finger, usually against the counter or against my leg, and when that is done, i move on. i COULD understand if amber did something like that where she heard a particular word and felt some odd need to spell it over and over again but i don't think just by finger spelling she would be able to keep up and continuously sign what someone was saying with JUST the alphabet without getting lost.
Lying and keeping the web of lies consistent is a high intelligence skill. I doubt our Gorl has the brains for it.
Okay, the sign language is NOT OCD!!! OCD is accompanied by feelings of distress and worry. The compulsions are performed in response to a trigger, whether it be thoughts of hurting someone, unwanted sexual thoughts, fear of contamination, etc. Signing everything someone says is NOT OCD. I hate, hate, hate how people throw it around nilly willy, and I don’t understand why she wants to have OCD so badly.
I am DIAGNOSED with OCD. I spend hours a day on my compulsions. I wash my hands until they are raw. I struggle to eat like a normal person. I have difficulty being around other people. When I have to touch light switches and doorknobs all I think about is fecal matter and disease. I won’t even carry cash because of how disgusting it is to me. I worry about carbon monoxide poisoning. I worry about absorbing laundry detergent through my skin. I worry about accidentally putting my cat in the washer machine or dryer, and have images in my head of finding her whenever I do laundry. I worry about gravity turning off, and I have to count to 60 3 times to stop gravity from turning off. Some days I feel like I’m going absolutely insane, and when I talk about my OCD to other people, they look at me like I’m crazy.
It’s debilitating and embarrassing and stressful. It makes me so mad when she talks about this shit. She acts like she has contamination OCD and SHE HASN’T SHOWERED IN DAYS. Not a single person with contamination OCD is going without a shower, I can promise you that.

I have a friend that kind of explained it to me and from what I understood it would be way more complicated to like spell out the word using letters from the alphabet so certain signs mean the words (I know that certain languages specifically Japanese and I wanna say mandarin and use one “letter” in kanji that can represent multiple things or ideas while being just a single symbol of that makes sense.) not sure if it’s the same but I have learned a couple of words in ASL and have no clue how to sign the alphabet

Deaf person here, so the alphabet is generally used for names, specific things like that, personal things, like names when the person doesn’t have a sign name, a street maybe, signs, a place, things like that. Words, everything has a sign to itself along with watching the persons facial movements, reading lips, body language, etc, hope this helps! Xxx

If you don’t mind me asking, Amber mentioned signing everything while only knowing the alphabet, is this a thing? I think salty mentioned it but it would seem very hard to sign an entire sentence just using the letters (not sure if it would be the equivalent to like spelling out an entire sentence using the letters in the word or something 😭) I’m so sorry if this is at all insensitive I just really wanna understand and make sure I’m getting everything.

Meow, when it comes to the alphabet you’ll see deaf/HOH people signing using “signs” and alphabet together along with noises/facial expressions like I said above, it’s honestly pretty rad to watch/have a conversation with.
Her just spelling out every single word with only the alphabet is like impossible, I can finger spell dumb fast but I’ve done it literally all my life, but someone just learning not taking actual classes with certifications, no. Shes lying, usually the mama comes out of me more and I’m more benefit but she is 100% doubt. She admitted it made her “quirky” and that’s all I needed to know.

Re: the copyright strikes: I remember when Apathetic Fax’s channel started and they DID used to be much less transformative than they are now. They do much more commentary and editing these days. Still weird that Amber struck EIGHT videos, though.
I remember arguing with someone about this regarding AF. I think it was the livestream era, and they would be one of the fastest to reupload...because a lot of those specific videos were Amber's streams, just shortened/with the dull stuff removed. Now they do great and I think they learned they have to put in more effort, so wonderful to have them back and better than before.
When she was Copyrighy Striking, she was going for blood. She hit MULTIPLE channels. Jealous that the reaction channels who actually have something to say and provide created Transformative Content out of her trash. 🗑️ She lies and we all know this. Also, how can a channel like Amber Lynn’s or Daughtery Dozen (who is currently doing the exact same thing at this moment) how can they *prove* a true loss of income? It seems like that is too much work that ALR is not interested in. She thought she could scare people off with a flat threat. Also, from what I understand, when you copyright strike someone, you are also being looked at as well, and they don’t take kindly to “HR Runners” IYKYK.
As someone who ACTUALLY has OCD and severe OCD where I struggle to leave the house, there isn’t a ‘test’ for OCD you get assessed and also she can seriously piss off with her ‘OCD’ organising bullshit, real OCD makes you do stuff you don’t want to do but you feel like you have to or something bad will happen, OCD is not fun, it’s not quirky, it’s not just cute little things you might do, OCD is living hell and I hate that she names her bullshit OCD because she thinks it’s cute
