I remember watching this on TV in the 90s I did not know Mr Blobby had a wife and the baby blobby is cute
The guy who played mr Blobby was a classic trained actor

I remember watching this as a boy, and this was the very moment when Mr Blobby became a fully fleged character.
Before then he was presented as a disguise for Noel Edmonds in his 'Gotcha' segments.
I myself was too old (about 8 or 9) to see him as a 'real person' so unlike younger kids I saw him as a man dressed up.
Many people tend to dis Mr Blobby, and/or Noel's House Party as worthless trash, but as a kid I really enjoyed it for what it was, a fun and funny night in, it wasn't some kind of cuting edge drama or some groundbreaking for of TV show nor was it supposed to be some kind of hard hitting documentary about the issues of the day (in this case the 1990s) or even biting satire on the 1990s.
All it was, was a nice bit of fun on a Saterday night, of which I very much enjoyed.
However as an adult, rewatching those old shows and clips on UA-cam I was supprised at the amount of more 'adult' references and inuendo that slipped into the show (even into the 'Mr Blobby' music vid) during a time slot when kids would having watching.
Many of them slipped well above my 8-11 year old Asperger's head (although I did begin to notice them as a teenager) but by the time I was old enough to enjoy that kind of humor I had began to loose interest in the show during it's final year, to the point that I wasn't even aware that the show was still on TV at the time until I heard that it had been axed, thus I watched and taped the last few episodes, that said however I did feel that it was truely the end of an era, I even heard, years later, that poor Noel cried after he put on his brave face as he walked off from the set that one last time.
All in all 'Noel's House Party' was a bit rubbish and I don't think that it would work today, but it was rubbish that I loved and enjoyed.

This doesn't make much sense. Mr Blobby lives in the real world, he even lived with Sir Noel in the great house at one point. He wouldn't go to a blob centre, he'd go to a job centre. He wouldn't be inspired by Blobby Dylan, if such a person even exists, he would be inspired by Bob Dylan. Finally, if I didn't see it with my own eyes, I wouldn't believe that his television would have the same skin tone as himself. Does anyone have a television that is the same colour as them? Of course not. Most televisions are black and I don't know any black people!

Mr Blobby is not creepy, it’s Mr Noseybonk who is absolutely terrifying (I find him a bit creepy but I’m fine watching his videos).
