This is so cool. Homage to legendary athletes.
Sucks that 90% of fans today never got to witness that rivalry between Sting & Muta live man.
Do you think 90 percent of fans are younger than 40? Sorry, thats not the case, the majority of wrestling fans know about Muta and Sting
plus dont forget they were part of nwo together
@@nicholasbrown4109 only 7% of AEW’s audience is aged 35-49, with the average age of viewers being 43. While everyone knows who Muta is, the vast majority of AEW’s audience is below 40, so the likelihood of them watching or having vivid memories of muta vs sting is small. Plus Muta’s run in WCW was only a year long (not including his returns as they were unmemorable in comparison, being odd one offs or in that shit tag team run where they didn’t know what to do with him), which also happened to be the year after WCW was branded as WCW and still finding its feet, so it’s possible even the right age bracket didn’t see Muta and sting given it happened in such a short space of time on what was the second wrestling promotion.
Everyone knows Muta, but ops comment 90% of fans never witnessed that rivalry, while hyperbole, is probably a lot closer to the truth than we all think
Not for me. The Sting/Flair Funk/Muta feud was epic in its day. From the Funk announcer ambush, to the 3 ring circus involving Buzz Sawyer as well, to Havoc being the endgame and Sting being kicked from the Horsemen afterwards. Longterm storytelling at its best.
@@elcactusdelamuerte506 If the average age is 43 please explain how the vast majority is under 40.
I watched the replay as I'm in the middle of moving and trying to take care of my Grand-Uncle, 74 who still ended up in the hospital for a COVID infection, so my week has been shite and then this moment gave me chills and memories... A tear came out! Legendary moment
when muta came out i damn near shed a tear. tony is def hitting the nostalgia button for us fans who grew up watching the vets. such a dope year.
2 of the greatest wrestling Legends in the same ring again after all these years later!!!!❤️🍺😃👍
Seeing The Great Muta and Sting in the Ring again after all this time is Mind-Blowing.... Love it!
Really hope Julia Hart isn't hurt. That was a wicked fall 😔
I was hoping the same. Looked like she smacked her head on the floor 😱
Whats even more mind blowing is the shape the both of them are in.
GREAT MUTA! Never in my life i would see him like this, AEW! AEW!
Doctor: "Darby, you're severely injured and need to go to the hospital straight away."
Darby: "Yeah, just lemmie sit here 'n watch Sting & Muta first."
Sting vs. Muta was the best matches in all of wrestling history.
Getting to see muta on American TV again especially in the final year of his career was amazing!
Sting & Muta in the same ring? What s time to be a wrestling fan.
Sting laughing bought me back to Sting’s “Joker” persona. Mannn, if we can have another “Joker Sting” run.. 🤯🤯🔥
Wow, what a moment....it took a while to digest how magical this truly was
Is nobody going to talk about that bump Julia Hart took?! 😂
Miss the table completely
