Jericho might be undefeated in the 1 on 1 match as Painmaker, but this got to be the first match that Jericho (in his Painmaker persona) ever lose at AEW. Although you can't ignore how crazy this match was because Jericho/Painmaker was incredible all the way until the end of this match. No surprise that Sting is still got it, but it's absolutely wild how Sting take down Sammy Guevara like that. Speaking of Guevara, both of his move and skills was even more badass when there's no DQ and no Ringout count. And finally, Darby was insanely cool whenever he mixed his wrestling moves with his skateboard moves.🙅🏽♂️😉😜😎🙂
Now, there's a true GOAT in professional wrestling, 64 years old this year and Sting never fails to amaze me, he is a true icon in the industry, there will never be another Sting, although I could see a Stinger in Darby Allin and Darby is one heck of a talent, he is one of the best in AEW today, this is why I love wrestling.

Darby : "Repeat after me: I'mNOT too old for this shit"
Sting: "IM NOT TOO OLD FOR THIS SHIT!!!!"
Sting has been one of my favorite wrestlers since the 90s, it blows my mind at 64 years old he can still do this. Absolute legend.
Sting coming back into match after faceplanting that second table was awesome. They kept cameras off him while medical crew made sure he was ok to continue. Looks like he may have lost a tooth or 3, but he came back & completed match!!!!! He IS the ICON !!!!!!!
I'm glad you found it awesome. What word would you use to describe paralysis?
This is my problem with u AEW fans yall are stupid u ain't real wrestling fans you just wanna see them go out there and legit die or get permanently injured "he lost 3 teeth awesome" yall legit wanna see these guys get hurt
Sting is awesome and crazy. Even when he does these insane dives off of ladders, stages, and more, that still makes him an icon
What a match!!! Thank you AEW!!! Sting, Y2J, Sammy and Darby insane match!!
Watching Sting go after all these decades proves one thing... Mind over body. The GOAT!
or paycheck over body.
He DID NOT have to do that!! WTF Sting!! Such dedication. Great match by these 2 legends as well as Sammy and Darby.
I agree, but our opinions don't matter. This was all him
Age doesn't mean ANYTHING to The Icon! Sting is just insane and giving everything in the ring! What a legend!
Sting is 63 years old and Still Move faster than half roster Damn he is the GOAT of Pro Wrestling 👏👏👏
Moves faster than jeff and matt combined
He is 64 already.
@@MRRR30You aren't lying though !! Matt moves like he's 80 already.. Jeff isn't far behind, he just "medicates" so he isn't as stiff & slow..
FACTS
@@cheongtienthye6815Wow! You know what's funny? Idiots on the internet like to bully cm punk by saying that he's too old when he just 44 which isn't that old at all
Not one sport that's on primetime tv can you be damn near 70 and still performing incredible!
Sting & R Truth are timeless!
yeah Sting may be hurt from that spot. too far for him, but crazy
Increíble lo que hace Sting a esa edad sin duda el mejor de todos los tiempos
A 64 year old just did an incredible dive from a ladder to a set of two tables. Sting you're amazing, man!!
Incredibly bad.
He botched it tho
He hurt himself setting table too far but went on with the match.
Horrible botch
He nearly paralyzed himself. Sting had no business up there.
Sting is a senior citizen. He’s gonna feel this until next year
Naa,Dude..He's in excellent physical condition
Sting is a legend he prove that age is just a number sting is in his 60s jumping off a ladder and still capable of giving 5 star 🌟 matches it's amazing
Sting might’ve bit his tongue or cheek or maybe even busted a tooth on Sammy’s leg it looks like when he hit the tables. Just an absolute legend. “Heroes get remembered, but legends never die.” 💯 🦂
His face hit Sammy's knee.
I think he may have chipped or lost a tooth
Yeah man i saw on that landing, that was rough. That is a LONG drop for a 64 year old man, but sting is amazing! I was afraid his knees might have hit early on the drop, but i think he saved them, just hurt his mouth. God if he bit his tongue, not good...
2:30 - Sting is 64 years old. He can't fly, but he can fly.
.
In the words from Tony Schiavone: "What the hell is he doing? What's wrong with this guy?".
.
My God This Guy is Incredible, He Will Never Learn.
The real question:
What the hell is AEW doing, putting him at risk?
Fearless, bold and solid Sting is for his age and he still has a lot left in the tank indeed. Great match and more power/props to this iconic legend for giving us a great show.
Brah Sting is 64 Years Old!!! Let That Sink in.....name me a legend that is old and is doing those crazy ass stunts like younger wrestlers are doing?!!!😳
@@melaninking199 Just amazing

AMAZING! All respect to the legend STING!!!
Them legends still got it!
I got to say that this Tornado Tag Team match between Jericho & Guevara and Sting & Darby is wildly great. In fact, this is extremely better than great. This might be just my opinion, but this should be recognized as 1 of the 5 Stars Matches in AEW history. Cause those 4 men giving their all in this chaotic showdown.😃🤩🙏
Yall have idea how legendary this is for someone of his age .. sting is a legend
Sting is pathetic for doing stupid spots like this to pander to marks that just want crashes and flips.
Stupid, not legendary. This sort of bullshit is tarnishing his legendary career.

Sting after straight table definitely knocked some teeth out

Damn I never knew about this match. Ever since Sting retired, I'm going through this rabbit hole of watching Sting's AEW match. That's sweet that he fought Jericho. And this match was sick!
For real legends age just a number. Sting is true legend forever
His dedication to this business is insane
I think sting is immortal, crazy how well he is still performing.
Well? He fkn missed
Sting is an absolute legend. He makes me proud to be a wrestling fan
Sting watching him he can still Carrie a company it’s crazy god bless his talent
I’m 38 and Sting has been my favorite wrestler since 1989 when I started watching and understanding wrestling at 4 years old, thank you Grandad for introducing me to wrestling!!! 🙏🏽
Sting just want that check why else would a 64 year old man still be putting his body on the line
Sting and Jericho showing the world of wrestleng today how to do it. Awesome!
I definitely felt like a kid again
Especially, after this main event
Reminded me of Monday Nitro
At his age jumping onto the tables and still wrestling afterwards
I'm going to be sad when the day comes when he retires for good
You'll always be my favorite, Stinger 🖤
Thank you Sting, you're a true living legend. What moments he's created and he's still not done with the business!
FANTASTIC match-within-a-match there at the end! As someone who grew up on late 90s WCW, this was a dream encounter and I LOVED every second of it!
Jericho was a comedy midcarder/curtain jerker in WCW. This was no ones dream match back then.
@@gmac673have you not figured out that AEW fans are just fans who want to correct the past or someshit
@@browngaymethodistjesuschri1361 no they're just a bunch of virgin marks that think cussing, blood and high spots are what makes wrestling awesome.
These idiots don't give a shit that Sting might have crippled himself in a meaningless spot on TV that isn't even going to lead to anything.
Lmao😂😂😂 Taz, "He's too far away..., The Forbidden DDDDOOOOORRRRR!" 2:30
😮 Sting is always a treat to watch ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Sting on my Mt. Rushmore, Jericho not only putting over younger talent, but putting Sting over clean! I just love AEW ❤, thank you Tony Khan, thank you!
Sting in 60s can wrestle better than most wrestlers today 😂
In AEW that's facts. Sad

Thank you Sting
Fuckin legend
64 years young.... Wow! Sting = LEGEND
I was genuinely worried about Sting during the Forbidden Door match but jesus, he put my worries to bed here. I stand corrected and couldn't be happier. Sting remains one of the BEST!
you weren’t worried after seeing Stings face going right into Sammy’s knees ? i was. wouldn’t surprise me if he broke some teeth.
I thought Sting would be above doing stupid spots like this just to make dumb marks clap like seals.
I’m 28. Back hurts, knees hurt, ankles hurt. Sting is an inspiration and I’m happy to see so many recognize. RespectfullySting has done nothing for my personal wrestling fandom because I watched all my wrestling without his presence, but damn is this amazing/inspiring. You can’t teach an old dog new tricks, but that doesn’t mean the dog forgot them! 👍🏼☝🏼👌🏼💪🏼
At least we'll have covid alibi if everything breaks down.
@jonathanwilliams2183 He's sixty...four...He's saying...Idk your age...but one day you'll be in a decade of your life where it feels like a video game...the life force is wonk, and doesnt recover right from sleep...and you'll be like what, why is that a symptom,,,We watch these tv people in 40's/50's and think look at them go...It's not exactly typical.
@jonathanwilliams2183 Right.
Sting is such a beast.
Watched sting since he started in wrestling...and to keep going at his age...just shows his love for the sport....outrageous
I feel like this last run is sting building Darby up to take his torch these two together are magic and Darby is the only one I’ve seen in generations to give me that old school sting feel
@@zoamel8066what a crappy torch
Verdadera pasión y entrega una leyenda 🫡
Sting is always a legend still kicking ass .Chris great to see wrestlers like you and Sting ⚡ Always going to see a greatttt match.
Are you sure Sting is 64 years old ??? It seems to me he's is 34 years old this is amazing 👏 Sting forever
Sting truly is the icon indeed. To be 64 and jumping off a ladder through someone on a table is nuts! Also Sting isn't known for doings like this. You would expect it from Darby but to see Sting do it, especially at his age, is a sight to behold. I just hope he's alright.
He barely made it though the table though lol
