That’s the one thing I miss about living in Atlanta! Having a Joannes or Michaels just 30 minutes away from me! My related people live there, but I no longer
If you're going to ship your cookies, I suggest putting them in tightly tied cellophane treat bags and packing them into a larger airtight container such as a tin with a secure lid or an empty paint can with styrofoam peanuts. Wrap the large container in bubble wrap and place in a box with more styrofoam packing peanuts to maximize shock absorbancy and minimize breakage.
I found this video very helpful! Thank you very much for sharing these ideas. I wouldn't know what to store my cookies in. I am thinking about baking your cherry blossom cookies and sending it to a love one in a different state :) Happy Holidays.
Thanks a million. Your recipes are great specially you took the time to give the ingredients in cups. Plz can you tell me what is the name of the cookies with sesame and their container is decorated with snow flake. I dearly love you show.
I made this video several years ago, so I'm sorry, but I can't remember which cookie that is. Probably a ginger or shortbread or butter cookie. However, it's not sesame cookies as I never made that type of cookie.
What about peppermint patties? How can I save them from semi-melting whilst gifting? The other day I took some for friends, they became sticky inside the wrapper. It was a warm day. I kept them in the freezer as a precaution before leaving home, but didn't help. Any tips u can share?

The only thing you can do is to temper the chocolate, if you wanted to keep them at room temperature.
