    Wow! Just last night my grandson asked if I had a recipe for Hard Rock Candy. I know I did but couldn't remember which cookbook. You sure made it easier.

    Oh, I remember so many ladies making the hard candy when I was growing up in WV. That is one of my favorite Christmas candies, that and the Potato Candy. Thanks!!!!!

      I grew up in WV too… mom made a bunch of different cookies and would fill the big tin container up.. she also made cow patties.. which was really good too

      @@nicopico5537 My Mom called the no bake cookies Cow Patties, too. My Mom passed away in 2005, I really miss her still this time of year.

      @@nicopico5537 butter, sugar, evaporated milk, Pnut butter and oats. Me and my brother loved them. She always made Egg custard at Christmas time, too. My Mom didn't bake, she only baked chocolate cake. I, however, love to bake cakes and cookies. Do you still live in WV? I haven't been back since 1998. All my family but a couple of cousins that I am not close to have passed. I am from Logan County.

    Omgsh!!! My childhood friends mother used to make that rock Candy and it brings back the best memories! None of the gang liked the cinnamon flavor so she’d always make a batch just for me!

    How did you know I needed some new recipes for Christmas gift bags this year? I do make toffee every year, but a few of these I’ve never made before. I don’t think I’ve seen the puffed corn at the store though. Thanks for the recipes.

      @@ChefKristiThymetoCook thanks for replying to Diane’s comment I had the same question! I love Aldi! I think I’ll be making a trip just for this one recipe. They have good prices on butter, coffee creamer, and also some cute home decor…but I love caramel popcorn…and it’s always the first to go in the trio of popcorn we buy for Christmas…I think I will try this for church it looks amazing!

    These all look SOOO DELICIOUS!!! I want to try Them All. The last One if We would add some peanuts to it reminds Me of “Cracker Jacks.” I don’t know if You are old enough to remember Them but I think that They still maybe sold. LOL!!! It was my Favorite as a Child.

      What a great idea to add peanuts, you could even put a small prize in each bag like the old cracker jacks. I love the idea of the puffed corn, so you don’t get any kernels in your teeth. Can’t wait to try this!

    These look so good! I have never heard of a couple of them, so I'm excited to try something new! That is a fantastic tip to use the pizza cutter for the rock candy!     Love all the treats. However, most of my family are not white chocolate fans. Does anyone know if peanut butter [or other nut butters like hazelnut, cashew, sunflow] can be added to the white chocolate for some of these recipes? If so, how much? TYIA

      Thank you for watching. You definitely don’t have to use white chocolate just substitute it for milk or dark chocolate.

    Ragtag, candy,, white chocolate rice Krispy nuta and any flavor you like, then pecan turtles bag chocolate chips I bag of white chips then a rolo candy on that.

    English toffee shaped chopped walnuts 2 sticks of butter and cook a while then drop a little piece in cold water to with a soft hard chunk
