Oh, I remember so many ladies making the hard candy when I was growing up in WV. That is one of my favorite Christmas candies, that and the Potato Candy. Thanks!!!!!
It’s actually been a few years since I’ve made the hard candy. I used to make it every year and made a bunch of flavors. Thank you Kathy! Merry Christmas!

Wow! Just last night my grandson asked if I had a recipe for Hard Rock Candy. I know I did but couldn't remember which cookbook. You sure made it easier.
My family loves that first treat and we also add the little colored marshmallows. It’s hard to leave along. I am so glad I came across your videos. You are a good teacher. I am trying most of them for my annual cookie/candy party.

What a great idea to add peanuts, you could even put a small prize in each bag like the old cracker jacks. I love the idea of the puffed corn, so you don’t get any kernels in your teeth. Can’t wait to try this!
I use vanilla wafer with peanut butter and 1/3 of large marshmallow slice and then dunk in chocolate. Easy for kids to help. Very good. Glad I watched this needed new recipes. TYFS
Thank you for the ideas. I made the caramel puff corn this morning but had to use ALDI peanut puffs as we don't have butter puffs in Australia. It turned out brilliantly. So morish.
