    All thse big companies have been cheating us all along with technical jargon like high quality steel, heat treatment after machining, forging dies, dimensions, tolerance and such terms. You sure can make nails like this and have a market for it.

    Put a box under cutting press.
    Drop heated and pressed nail to box...
    Drop ready nail to box...
    Do not throw on floor.

    A good rustic nail for unique applications, the nail being made is designed to not split timber. Pretty costly even when manufactured with modern equipment, low demand item.

    Wow, love this, such an amazing video. I wish I had the time and the resources to do more of these kinds of projects. I has to be really hot and hard work though. I have a lot of respect for these guys, I don't think I could do what they do all day. Anyway, thanks for sharing the Vid.
    Oh, and PS. I was checking out a Wikipedia article about Iron Rods and it linked to this: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Curtain_rod Do you think you could show any videos making products like drapery rods, curtain rods, etc. My wife wants me to make some French return does for her kitchen window, but I am not sure where to start. If you can do this, I am sure you could show us how to put a 90 degree bend on a piece of rod or metal tube. The only other step would be to weld on some kind of backplace to allow it to be screwed to the wall.
    Regards,
    Rodney

    Slow way to make nails

  • @jimfarmer7811
    @jimfarmer7811 2 роки тому

    Why would anyone still be using such obsolete technology to make nails? Modern machinery can spit out nails for far less than what these nails cost. I'm sorry but this is just stupid.

    • @ManVSMachineHD
      @ManVSMachineHD  2 роки тому

      Yes,, you are absolutelry right.

    • @ManVSMachineHD
      @ManVSMachineHD  2 роки тому +1

      @Ben Chuft Yes, that's right. People here in Pakistan don't have enough investment to install modern machinery.

    • @ManVSMachineHD
      @ManVSMachineHD  2 роки тому +1

      @Ben Chuft I totally agree with you that such hard working people are really worthy of respect. Most people message why these people do not use modern machinery but you said very well that it is better to do something than to do nothing.

      might be specialty item, or small run

    • @jimfarmer7811
      @jimfarmer7811 2 роки тому

      @Ben Chuft These people live in poverty because they waste their resources using grossly obsolete manufacturing technology. Why can't you understand that this inefficiency locks the country into a cycle of poverty for them and their descendents. These people are not to be admired but instead pitied.
