Raining here all the time too down near portland. My holidays were a suprise.....rain storm leaked into my breaker box, been without electricity for 6 days now. Going to home depot and buying everything to replace it myself today since I was quoted over 4 grand and the supplies are only 300 bucks. Wish me luck Calvin,we both are hitting unexplored territory today. Glad your healing is going well,it's always motivational seeing you overcome struggles and makes me have more confidence getting into the deep water myself.
@SoggyButtowski I am aware. Don't worry my friend,I appriciate the concern. The power to the entire property will be shut off while work is done and will be inspected by an electrician before power is restored.
A super cool thing about your hobby and lifestyle is that finding new caves may never end. Probably hundreds of thousands or millions of caves just in the US to still be found. ❤️
Happy NY boys. Quick question, have you guys ever tried to use LIDAR tech to find new holes? I don't know about lava caves but very efficient to find limestone holes.
Calvin, I would love to see you interviewed by Nick Zentner. You're both into the Cascades, but from very different angles. You like to taste it and roll around in it. Zentner is building a huge geological database. If the internet ever crashes, blame Zentner. I would like to see Nick's reaction to some of the images you've published, especially the big painted pit, the smooth-surfaced outgassed lava flows and all the examples of railroading. Careful down there.
at this point id almost compare your caving desire to an addiction, like when an addict overdoses then the next day does it again. But thanks for the content love your videos.
@@notademonratI've done that on my motorcycle a few times. Not even the next day....usually almost die....then have to ride anyways because you are miles from home.
Absolutely amazing, how he just slides, right down in it, always amazes me.
Anyone ever say, how much you look like Billy Bob Thorton, Blows me away, the similarities, awesome actor by the way, every movie, is very good.
We've been compared to many actors.
Most of them i've never heard of.
My people get very excited.
WOW!!!...Dude you're healing fast...Looks like many prayers have been answered. Thanks for uploading your stuff. I love watching your caving videos.

Never mess with electricity unless you have an idea what you're doing. 😮

@xXCigarXx glad you thought it through. Some people act without caution.
@SoggyButtowski Most definetly. I do get into dangerous stuff, but not without proper precautions. Thanks for looking out.
You are a dedicated and diehard Caver. You are still injured but you don't let it stop your quest and destiny to search for the unknown caves.

Maybe Billions or Trillions even!
@@ruffrider2626zillions or gagillions! 😅

Calvin… The Lord Of The Caves!

Happy NY boys. Quick question, have you guys ever tried to use LIDAR tech to find new holes? I don't know about lava caves but very efficient to find limestone holes.
I believe it was mentioned in THIS video, these caves were lidar hits.
So the answer to your question is yes.
Quick healer. Happy New Year

Happy New Year!!
please take a trip to the paris catacombs
i though you had got a collab with the guy from outdoor boys
Actually working on that.
Would you believe, near where we live is technically snowier than where outdoor boys live.
Nonono. It's not crevasse. It's crevaaase! 🧐
Take a shot every time he says the word crevAAAsse.

Similar to people who are addicted to riding a bicycle or driving a car or motorcycle... then doing it again the next day.
@SKITT7ES I guess.... unless they get in accident and almost die then go for a bike ride the next day..
Anything you love is addicting.

We call it cave fever.
