I don't think I was expecting that! It look better than I thought it would and I wore mine for 1 day+ before peeling it off, it lasted fairly well but keep in mind isn't mean for long term use. IMHO this is for anyone who wants to paint their nails but a) need it to dry FAST or b) doesn't want to have the polish on for long / doesn't want to use nail polish remover , or even c) is super sensitive to nail polish odor. The concept is cool but the price is high especially considering that they don’t tell you how many manicures you get out of each pen. 🤔

This is perfect for me! I work in food service and one major rule is no nail polish. But I love having polished nails outside of work. I don’t mind polishing my nails and using remover to remove the polish when I’m ready but it’s just too much of a hassle. With this, I can have my cake and eat it too!

Peel off base coat would probably be better price wise as I'm sure you already have polishes you love!
I'm allowed to have nail polish as a factory worker but as we work with different oils and and coolants it really wears on regular nail polish really fast so I sometimes do as you do, paint them on a weekend as a treat but then take it off because it's just gonna get ruined in the beginning of the week anyway

This is a great product for people in professions such as nursing because they aren’t allowed to have nail Polish, gel or acrylic (in the UK anyway). Between shifts, this could be an easy way to spruce up their look, & not have to waste hundreds of £/$ getting them done & then removed a few days later. Particularly for specially occasions. Love it!

You could polish your nails yourself with 2 $ polish and then remove it with 1 $ acetone.
That is wild! In the US , we just aren’t allowed to have “long nails” but I try and fly under the radar in my little nursing home. Mine aren’t super long but they are probably too long for most places.

I think it’s amazing for children in school as some schools do not allow nail polish that is not skin color, or not even allowing nail polish at all. Because you can have it for the weekend and just take it of when it’s time without rubbing it off violently, that may cause irritation and more.

WOW!! I remember using a one like this when I was 8 or 9, and as a Muslim girl it was so easy to remove it to do my prayers, but then it was no longer manufactured in my country. I remember me and my friends were so disappointed 😅. Really happy to know that it's available now, and where are in a world where we can order from any county 💃🏻👏🏻

Literally the reason I was drawn to the video. The second my polish starts chipping, I can’t seem to resist chipping it all off, much to the dismay of my natural nails. Poor things can’t grow if I keep wrecking them so royally. Gonna invest in this for sure

the silver looks streaky in a way that I don't really like, but that sheer glitter is cute
probably not something i would use often, but being able to do your nails on the go without bothering others with the smell...that is a great idea. i actually WOULD have had use for something like this a few weeks ago when i was traveling and on a plane for a long time.
These would be great for travel. Especially the sparkly sheer. You could use these quickly before going out for dinner, then peel them off for the pool the next day. Or the hike or whatever activity usually results in chipped nails.
My cousin would love this, she has severe asthma so the smell of nail polish usually triggers her asthma.

Water based nail polish is basically the same. It's peel off and very low odor that's not bothersome at all.

be careful with the cheap ones! i bought a cheap set from amazon and they damaged my nails. Like it peeled off some of the nail even after i soaked my nails in warm water for 15 minutes

I’d definitely try it, especially after hearing it has no smell!! That’s the biggest thing keeping me from painting my nails regularly, I get a headache from the smell, even after I’m done. And I love the idea of being able to just peel it off when I’m ready!

There’s a company in Germany making odourless nailpolish: Gitti water based polishes. I quite like them and they last for a few days with their top coat ☺️
I love the smell...
Water-based polishes are odorless and come in a ton of colors. They can last up to a week with good application And a top coat. Some gel is also odorless.

This would be lowkey ideal for me. I find the peel off base coat I have is way too easy to peel off, and when I’m stressed I pick at my fingers and if I’m wearing nail polish with a peel off base coat, it’s bye bye mani in the space of about five minutes. I really want to keep using a peel off base coat because it’s less damaging though. This is such a cool idea and thank you for trying it for us ❤

The first time I tried a peel off base coat I was SO disappointed. I thought I'd be able to choose when it would come off. The next day I had a CPR review at school, half of the nails peeled off when it was my turn to do chest compressions :(

Holo taco peely base is good as well! Also i love your content irrespective of the fact that I am very much against cuticle removal and hate the scent of nail polish remover. You are very creative! I have a question regarding halo Taco peelie. Does it last longer then traditional polishes? Does it chip as badly?
@@tuttyfat I’m not sure on the second one but to answer your first question, it depends on your nails, actually. The first times you use it, it’ll probably pop off pretty quickly because of the oil on your nails. But as your nails get used to it, it’ll stay for longer times. Cristine, who’s used it for a long time, can have it on for a good chunk of time without it popping off by itself.

First, I love this idea. Second, I can't help but wonder how it would peel if it had a regular top coat on 🤔
It would still peel fine… either the top coat cracks and shatters a bit or if it’s a more flexible top coat, it would prob stay intact and come off with the peel off polish perfectly; it would probably peel off better with a top coat on top because it would be less bendable/foldable so it might be more satisfying. I think it’s pretty common sense how it would peel with a top coat lol. It’s not rocket science. Just imagine a peel off polish that’s slightly thicker. I’m not trying to be mean but what did u expect would happen… it’s literally just a top coat on top of essentially dried school glue. A miracle won’t happen. And it’s gonna be underwhelming

Honestly the sheer glittery one was really pretty, i checked to see if they carry similar ones in different shades and they do! I could see someone painting their nails in a longer lasting base color then using this to better match outfits and such super quickly.
