@unclassified: Are you just here to insult me? That's not cool. Do you associate smoke with fire? Isn't meth, weed, coke, something you smoke? That has negative health, you know that. What do you mean it's not being charred. You already have a burnt piece of charcoal in there. Maybe you have a special talent, where if you were with an obese woman you could shut your eyes and suddenly she's a thin hard body, and think there's no fat, this is a no-fat...
Wow I never knew marinating meat was a new thing, I thought it had been happening for thousands of years! (Indeed Turmeric is the first thing I think of if I'm thinking of thinking about Japan)
Young man forgive me for repeating myself but OMG. So much talent, personality without saying a word and truly a master of all chefs. Food always appealing. You are a special young man.
I'm a seared meat kinda guy. But am truly about flavor and texture so if its good keep the recipes coming. We are living in the fastest paced world of all time right now. thank you so much you still make my day great am sold on your food frying is getting old am not stock in the past i love moving forward to new things in all aspect of life
Anyone who's ever dumped too much olive oil onto coals while grilling with tell you how bitter and terrible that smoke made that dish taste. Completely ruined.
Webspoon world we're not sure if they're chefs or cinematographers By far one of rhe best food channels Very artistic Nicely done mate keep up the great work you guys do Y'all are amazing 👍
The first recipe looks a little too fancy for me with the charcoal but that second one looks awesome! What's not to love about beef, mushrooms, onions and cheese? Yummy!!
@@janina8559 Yay!! I am always happy to see another Janina! You are right, we are few and far between. I'm in Canada and my parents were from Russia and Poland.

Well. These are nice alternatives for beef. However its too much work for when ur in the mood for a salt and pepper pan seared peice of beef. So delicious and easy perfect for eggs or a salad.
I think it's hilarious that people don't know the difference between fry (Sautee) and braise and instead of complaining about that squeaky music they comment in error. The second dish the chef did use a sautee method, looks good too..
Frying the meat for some browning and color then sautéing the other ingredients and adding the meat back to braise would only make these dishes that much better.
This is simmering & slow cooking by steam flavor infusion. Gotta leave the art of cooking to a civilization that has withstood the test of time. Hats off to the chef. I’d eat at their restaurant anytime. Oishi desu ne👍

what kind of meat should i use? i heard of the old trick of beating the meat to make it more tender? That looked like a roast that traditionally is tuff unless you slow cook it for hours?
Now those all looked incredible! Your food always does. Thank you! Ive tried several of your recipes so far and absolutely wonderful and super tasty!! 👍😉
The first technique is braising the beef which is not a replacement for frying. Its completely different. The second technique is pan frying, which is still frying but with less oil....
Okay that charcoal on the stove omg gave me so many ideas to achieve smokey flavor without a grill
Having a very hard believing it's japanese style, when I have seen my mom cook chicken this way everytime!!!
Definitely INDIAN!
The trick with charcoal and olive oil, I have never seen it. It give the food a smoky flavor? Looks delicious.
Do not use charcoal indoors..carbon monoxide poisoning..
Anything burnt is carcinogenic for humans when we eat it, and that means cancer-causing.
I use liquid smoke, it is easier.

My first time to see charcoal to be used for cooking fantastic recipe. Wow, looks yummy.
The charcoal briquet in the middle with olive oil? That was awesome.
I was thinking it is a good way to bring that smoke flavor. Also, I was thinking it is a good way to set off my apartment's fire alarm.
Why?
I love how there is no wasted movement in your videos.
Anytime I see red pepper and turmeric I immediately know it’s NOT a Japanese affair
Those look amazing. What cut of beef are you using/do you suggest for those?
Looks to me like he was using what we call in the US as Top sirloin which is usually sold already cut into steaks in stores unless you know a butcher.
These are beef and pork loins
Your videos make me want to go to culinary school!
This is a typical Indian dish , being an India I will say that looks fine , idk about the taste but definitely your sauce requires more kick
Amazing recipes! Thank you! ♥️♥️
whoah!!! totally admiring how you incorporated that smoke flavor! nice!
Just FYI: This is "Braising" not frying, braising means to cook slowly in a small amount of liquid.
Also take note, as he is using cheaper cuts of meat which are often more flavorful and braising makes them much more tender
👍🏻 the ingredients are like movie stars, they have character. The technique is fascinating. Glorious food indeed.
......soooo you just put Cooking Oil on a piece of Charcoal and it starts smoking.... Wow.... Some magic trick
Thanks, I will not try to be hungry while making food!

BEEF! Looks delicious. I love that smoking technique.
Looks tempting
I wish I looked this cool while cooking.
Buchers in Puerto rico been doing this for many yrs!!
As others have asked, what type of beef roast are you using?
The addition of the charcoal is interesting.
The best way to cook steak is seasoning with salt & pepper and sear it in the hot pan for 2-3 min per side and put it into the oven...
What does burning olive oil on charcoal do for the dish? Does it add pleasant aroma?
Anyone who's ever dumped too much olive oil onto coals while grilling with tell you how bitter and terrible that smoke made that dish taste. Completely ruined.
yeah, Olive Oil has a really low smoke point and is not good burned.
... Steak is so simple and wonderful, who wants to complicate something so wonderful
👵 Alexander the Great making great dishes again! 👏
😋 Those beef roulades have me hyper-salivating! 💌💕
Ok, I like beef. I like it cooked in just about every way. But I do enjoy it when it's seared, on a grill or in a pan👍😊
I love ur food art, keep posting its awsome and all the process of cooking is pure art in ur vid :)

It’s morning here, this has made me feel like dinner though!! Will give these a go as they look awesome once again!!
Frying the meat for some browning and color then sautéing the other ingredients and adding the meat back to braise would only make these dishes that much better.

The 2nd one is less complicated. I'll likely try that one.
this makes me hungry! 😋
I can no longer eat any kind of pepper. Do you have a suggestion for a substitute ingredient? Ginger ?
😲 that looks so delicious!
Why did you put cornstarch or cornflour directly on the pan??? For making lumps ???
Great music and great recipes👍👍👍😊😊
I think that's pretty awesome . 😊
what kind of meat should i use? i heard of the old trick of beating the meat to make it more tender? That looked like a roast that traditionally is tuff unless you slow cook it for hours?
4:39 - I’m totally gonna take your advice to stop frying meat by frying it instead.
Video editing is inspiring.
Am not a fan of pounded chuck or flank steak.
But this looks like a good way to make use of it.
If you are talking about the roll?? That's called a COUNTRY ROLLED STEAK in INDIANA and we've been doing it for 60+ years!
Search for morcon. We cook it in Philippines. a bit similar to this dish.
Cool!
glad i watched this video
I would add the spices to the mixer to get an even distribution. Maybe these are done in clumps to show it for the camera. Makes me crazy, lol.
Excellent video
Now those all looked incredible! Your food always does. Thank you! Ive tried several of your recipes so far and absolutely wonderful and super tasty!! 👍😉
Omg that looks sooo delicious
Thanks!
May as well put the first one on the grill since you gotta heat up the charcoal, or is there a way to heat one briquette..?
Awesome!
Love your channel
Looking good 👍 👌 😎
charcoal with oil are stuning trick
I'm very hungry now !
Much food for thought here, thanks! 👍😁
omg, so simple.. 30 ingredients only!
What should the frying pan be heated to?
whats the knife sharpener (brand, make) used at the very begining?
superb
Oh my God.amazing
Crisp and clear quality video with very specific and easy to follow instructions 👌
Should put the spices in the food processor after its been pulsed
the charcoal oil was the most impressive..
The first technique is braising the beef which is not a replacement for frying. Its completely different. The second technique is pan frying, which is still frying but with less oil....
This is the only food channel I watch over and over again.
