Coupled with the torque solutions short shifter, the rjm clutch pedal, and one piece driveshaft, this trans mount tied everything together for me and made shifts feel incredible.

Great video. I have a solid diff bushing and I installed a hardrace rubber trans mount. Unfortunately it was unusable due to the severe NVH. Windows were shaking etc.
My question is what diff bushing are you running? And do you think the solid diff bushing was why it was so bad?

I have solid engine mounts and z1 poly transmission mount for ab 3 months now and it sounds good it doesn’t sound that loud but def a difference I have also noticed that you can tell if your engine is not running right by the way the car shakes when it runs good it feels smooth when u start to get codes for stuff and you don’t know how severe it is you def will now I was able to feel the car misfire before i got the code and thank god it was just a coil pack harness getting lose because the clip is broken and yes I used zip ties to make sure it don’t fall of no more 😂

Got solid motor mounts and about to do poly transmission mount. Just with the solid motor mounts alone, it made a huge difference in car feeling!

Of course man! A new Stock one will make it real smooth and comfortable foresure!
Stock is the way with Z1mount, raceharden mount both give massive vibrations not worth it OEM is the way to go.
I got the z1 poly engine and trans mounts and it makes the vibrations at idle way stronger. Also changed the tone of the engine as well, I read that in reviews and didn’t believe it until i was there driving my car haha 😂
Which one would you say made the biggest difference in vibrations? The motor mounts or trans mounts?
And really the tone? I would have never guessed that!
I have the z1 solid engine mounts and diff bushings. It changed my car overall. Definitely going poly trans mount now so it’s not as harsh as the solid one
How hard would you say engine mounts were to install?
I think the engine mounts forsure! You even feel when the ac comes on at idle, and when you start the car the whole thing shakes for a sec haha but you can still live with it. Yeah bro the engine tone was a big surprise to me too. But if you do it you’ll see

Didn’t tell all the people how much noise it makes , not to bad in the summer , but. , the winter you can hear every gear , synco’ in the tranny , enjoy
Yeah but you definitely get use to it and I definitely will take its few drawbacks for that better shifting experience! The one that makes way more noise is motor mounts, I wouldn’t recommend those if you’re just a daily driver, but if you’re gonna be taking your car to the track or drive it hard, definitely worth it

Oh and BTW there is a break in period the vibrations will soften the more u drive it it will be rough the first 100 miles should soften up with use as it gets broken into
I did forget to mention that but a GOOD point to take note of!
Yeah on my 5AT, during cold startup and while accelerating were the worst vibrations when the mount was still new,

my shifter will like clicks forward after i let off the accelerator. i wondered if it was the trans mount. i might do this
my shifter moved forward too, did z1 poly motor and trans mounts and the shifter still moves forward when giving some gas. maybe diff bushing now but i have no clue just giving a heads up
Thanks for the heads up! Diff bushing would definitely attribute to that aswell!
I got rid of that when I got the z1 poly engine and trans mounts. I also got a low millage diff installed so that could’ve helped as well
I just need to engine mounts but everytime I think about doing them, I wanna shoot my foot by how much of a pain it looks like haha 😂 did you do your motor mounts yourself?

It has! I would say It’s super close to stock now, but in a good way!

Of course bro you got it! I would say In daily driving they feel pretty close, but if you’re gonna want something you can beat on and be able to take it, then you’ll definitely want this poly mount!
does this decrease transmission noises when shifting? my trans is so loud from outside the car when shifting idk if thats normal or not?
Pretty normal since it’s a mechanical linkage!

I did engine, transmission, subframe collars, and diff bushings, with my bc coils, and suspension arms all around. The car handles way better.
Nowhere near as rough as my s14 was with solid bushings. People actually think my g rides really nice haha.
From the things you’ve mentioned, I need to get engine mounts but it definitely does improve the handling!

I’d focus more on the differential area to reduce wheel hop!
@@JoeVazquez I was hoping it could help a little when I wanna also want to keep the trans still. Mine loves to kind of buck when I idle the car in 1st and the shifter bounces around when wheels hop on a launch
@@20502chris if ur engine or trans mounts are bad enough it could help cause wheel hop id imagine. I have poly dif and rear subframe collars with bad motor mounts and trans mount, sometimes I get a lil wheel hop when clutch kicking.. also my shifter moves a lotttt when drifting
